I’m going to mix in some interval work in between bouts of jelly bean bingeing.

Run Friday, Bike ride Saturday and then another run Sunday- looks like a good weekend here in Tennessee weatherwise. Easter Bunny – well nothing this year.
Wife and daughter are heading to Mexico for spring break which starts this Friday. So lots of guilt free bike time.
thanks
Probably running on 5K on Saturday. Easy run on Easter Sunday.
Attempting to get back in the water following an episode of Swimming Induced Pulmonary Edema (SIPE) during the Ironman 70.3 California swim… As always, great blog which serves as an incredible resource for a beginner like me… Thanks, Ray.
Easter Workout…Im recovering from knee surgery so no high impact sports for 2 more weeks! But I am cleared to use my ElliptiGO though! Hope to get in some good mileage. Just like running with no impact.
Last year I was responsible for creating a 40 foot bean stalk that would rise from the floor to the ceiling during a children’s Easter drama.
Big buck hunter and drinking beer. Taking the weekend off. Thanks.
Easy six miler per Hal H.
I post all my workouts on link to s2.31337.it
I’m training for the UTMB 2012. I hope I get a chance to get in :)
At the grandparents house, I found a boiled egg weeks after Easter in their wood pile. I opened it and gagged. Age ~10. This weekend? Easter egg hunt with my kids, worship, and my first long run alone on Easter Monday–can’t wait!
Hope my post is in had some trouble with IE to post
No special plans this weekend but this would make my weekend much happier.
Plan on taking out my new road bike for the first ride of the season.
This weekend my plan is to get my longest ride ever on my trainer this weekend as part of my build up to my first Century. I’ll be riding the 100M to No Where in June. If I get my new tires I might do a little out door road riding. Maybe a stop by the LBS to get some gear as well.
Swim / bike / run… in that order for once!
Every easter we make a bunny cake. Usually decorated to look like a bunny, but last year I got a little bit vangogh-ish with it. It was delicious, but no one “got it” – they all thought I was the one who didn’t understand the point of the cake. Oh well.
I plan to ride a 40 mile out and back to downtown Denver. Now I just gotta convince my buddy to go along. Misery loves company.
i plan to get a 2 hour ride in on saturday and eat lots of chocolate on sunday!
I’m planning on a bike/run this weekend as part of my Bumpass recovery. Saw you there and cheered! Maybe you heard the Rainmaker screams? Anyway, thanks for the giveaway! Hoppy Easter!
Brick for me this weekend…6 miles bike then a 1.3 mile run.
Also a coached swim session.
Planning a 30 mile bike on Saturday and 10 mile run on Sunday
I plan on doing some running this weekend – on 10km on Friday, 10km fast on Saturday and 20km on Monday!
Btw did you know that in Finland we eat this disgusting looking thing called “mämmi” during easter and that some people actually enjoy it?!
check it out:

Planning on running 6 miles Saturday, 12 on Sunday.
I’ve planned a 40k ride on saturday, and a 80+k ride on sunday. The weather is great here in the netherlands!
And somewhere in the weekend a nice easter-brunch!
My Easter story is over two years. Year one we had and egg hunt served cold drinks to the kids and the weather was poor – cool, rainy. The second year we served warm drinks and the weather was unseasonably warm.
Hi, choose me :D
Thanks for tanking the time to do this write up on the 610, looks amazing. Used my first FR today and really liked it, will have to think about getting one, or winning a giveaway ahahahha.
I will be performing “Quality Inspections” on the kids Easter baskets.
Easter workout is gonna be short with 6×12 minute hill repeats by my house!
My brother and I were visiting our older sister at college for Easter and she decided to replicate the family tradition of making a trail of candy to wake up to on Easter morning. To include her roommate, my sister laid a trail of chocolate from the roommate’s bed as well. Unfortunately said roommate came home late without seeing the candy and was very surprised to wake up and find melted chocolate stuck to her clothes and hair.
I’m short on bunny stories, but wow does that watch ever look awesome. I lost my 310, which I loved despite its girth.
This weekend I plan to run 17k on saturday and bike 50k on Sunday. I don’t bike much, but am training for the Ride to Conquer Cancer – 200k over two days. My bum is sore just thinking about it
Very excited for an Easter morning ride of around 50-60 miles!
My older brother saw me going for a chocolate egg and took off after it, got there first, and ate it right there infront of me. Needless to say, my 4 year old self let the tears out!
Plan to run half marathon.

No training this weekend. I’ll be @ FedEx Forum on Saturday to watch the Grizzlies beat down the Spurs followed by hours of post-game debauchery. Sunday will probably be spent on my couch recovering. Go Grizz!!!
Better weather means more outdoor pursuits!
Gratz to Ray for all of his work- a labour of love no doubt.

Since I will be in orlando for a work conference, I will be swimming in the lazy river with a pina colada.
Thinking of racing a 10 miler in the UK on Friday and then off to Italy for some warm weather training and relaxation! Tough life but happy to do it…
My daughter, now 4, leads a pretty sheltered life when it comes to candy. So when she gets it, it’s a pretty big deal. Last year, she was stuffing candy into her mouth as she was hunting for the goods. At one point I asked her to look at me for a picture and her little mouth was so full of m&ms, she looked like a chipmunk.
My planned workout is to watch the kids run after Easter eggs.
This weekend I plan to carbo-load with a bar crawl my friends and I created in Westover. Then an easy 20 mi ride… gotta love recovery weeks!
I found some plastic eggs in the shrubs at my house with some money in them that the previous owners must have hidden. They should marked the eggs, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 10. Make the kids look all day for the other 5 non-existent eggs.
Light workout this weekend. Celebrating Easter and my Birthday!

Mountain biking like a fiend!
I’m doing an 11 mile hilly trail run Saturday around a lake and a 10 mile road run on our local trolley trail Sunday if I can outrun the Easter Bunny and my wife…
We of course did the color eggs and then forgot where we hid them, until summer came around and we were able to follow our nose to find them…
And for this year it will be painting the inside of the house!
IWONKA
Going for a long 20K run on sunday, hopefully no easter bunnies will get on my way :)
my easters are always uneventful and i never miss finding an egg!!

We would typically always forget one or two of actual eggs that we shouldn’t have been hiding until we found them that summer with our noses…
This year will be a good dinner with family and painting the inside of our house!
Starting my taper this weekend for the upcoming Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati! I bet I’ll be the only one at the race wearing the 610!
6 hour bike ride on Saturday or Sunday, depending on the weather. 5000 yard swim and 2 hour run the other day. I’d really like to see an updated 310xt though!
I will be running Friday, swimming Saturday. Eating too much on Saturday and Sunday maybe Monday too. Thanks.
Looking forward to a 8-10 mile run as a taper before a half marathon the following weekend.
My plan is to get some speed work done on the track Saturday and get an hour swim in on Sunday.

A lot of chocolate and a lot of drinking
My “workout” this weekend is doing a ton of mulching in the yard. Boo.
34km run on friday, 12-15km recovery saturday tempo sunday. Looking forward to a marathon taper!
I plan to eat Matzah and avoid bread, maybe go for an easy bike ride, and run ten miles as I am in full taper for Providence Marathon on May 1.
Not an easter story but rather a promise to pig out on chocolate after Lent and then concentrate on 10k speed work.
Just plan to be good for summer
My workout plan has been the same the last 8 weekends; just do a half-marathon around 7am Saturday morning!

Well, my funny story starts with the fact that I grew up and still live in NOVA, which has a small population of Jewish kids. Being Jewish in an area where most of my friends were not I wanted to do everything they were doing. So, I went to the festivals with egg hunts and egg coloring and all the easter festivals as a jew. I really didn’t understand what was happening and my friends didn’t get why a jewish kid was there either. At one point, when I was older, I figured out this wasn’t my holiday and stopped asking my mom to go……
I plan to buy a new Garmin, ’cause I crashed my 310XT last week (glass broken). This contest could me a little miracle :-)
Daniel
This Easter I plan on giving myself some brand new running socks and I might even put them in some plastic eggs! Then with a 4 day weekends, I plan to run, run, run….
For Easter, I plan to check DC Rainmaker’s blog, then do a 6 mile run.
Count me in for 1. Happy Easter.

Hey Ray greetings from SA !
Have no clue where the Boston is here in South Africa that you mention in the post, but there used to be a quite popular restaurant chain called Boston BBQ here.
You paid and ate as much as you liked of just about anything, seems like a good idea after a big race :)
Anyway I dont have any easter stories either, but I plan to go trail running at a new park right up the street to test some new compression gear. Entrance is free !
Will also probly go hit some singletrack on the mtb, got new training wheels recently.
Shot for the giveaway and let me know when you visit SA again, would be cool to meet up.
Yay 610!
As a kid I hid a hard boiled Easter egg in the wire support structure underneath my Dad’s bench seat in his 1980 Chevy Silverado. For some reason I thought it would be fun for Dad to find. Find it he did, after trying for 2 months to figure out why his truck smelled AWFUL (I had forgotten to notify him there was an egg hidden in his vehicle).
Not really a funny story, but my wife and I like to make our kids (5 and 7)work for their easter baskets by leaving a trail of small chocolates, jelly beans and such with scavenger hunt notes (go to the digging tool in the shed) that they have to solve to find the baskets. One year my daughter circled for 15 minutes under her basket which was hanging from the swingset above.
Oh man, would love one!!!
Wow Ray. You rock. My wife just found a loaded plastic Easter egg we haven’t seen since we moved from California 4 years ago! Contents no longer edible.
I’d beat the bunny before next easter if only I had one. Loved the review btw.
Rups
5 day long weekend in Australia so plan is to relax, eat chocoloate and drink beer, life sure is tough down under. :)
Planning 2 long easy rides, about 3h each.
Planning a 50 mile ride Sunday morning!
Our season has just finished here in NZ. So after a couple of weeks of doing nothing, I’m looking forward to the odd run and getting on my mountain bike over the holiday weekend.
Either hiking in the Ozarks with my family for easter…. or traveling for work… Guess which I’d rather do
It’s our first Easter with a baby, and my wife is getting back into training so i’m planning a really good Easter family long run with the mountain buggy in the beautiful NZ autumn :-D
The gift in the chocolate egg (that’s the Italian way of celebrating Easter for kids) will be a 30k before the Trieste marathon on May 8th.
Happy Easter!
never rest for the wicked – thanks for the great reviews
