I did Ironman Louisville this weekend – I think we traded weather this year. Sorry you got the short straw.
My, don’t you look happy in that second photo – happy to be done, that is.
Congratulations of finishing another IM, and on a PR. Never dismiss a new PR.
Congrats on the finish. I know you may not have hit your goal, but you posted some impressive times!
Congratulations!!! You made it!

Does seem like you guys traded weather with Louisville this weekend. Still, 10:38 is an awesome race time. I wish I could do that on a cool day.
Enjoy your recovery!

For some reason I thought it only reached 80. It was freaking hot though and smoke from the forest fire didn’t help anything. You pulled out a great race, nice work! We must have missed each other on the run.
Congrats on the finish! Looking forward to reading the full report.

Man, those hot runs can be a drag, can’t they? Glad to hear you made it through – and PRs in all 3 disciplines is pretty darn sweet.
Somebody DID die at the race though, right? Maybe shouldn’t joke about that.
Good point Donald – I completely forgot about that while writing my original intro. Just removed the Monty Python reference…
Congrats on the PR! I tracked you all day while working on the diss. It was a fun distraction.
HA! You did awesome for the heat you encountered. Now you have an idea how I have been feeling on my afternoon run workouts here in Houston when it has been in the high 90’s and 100’s….lousy!
Great job and Congratulations!!!
