DC Rainmaker

Something look funny? Read this newsletter online!

Hey there Newsletter readers,

It is past due that I check in with you all. We have been living life in the fast lane over the past few months and balancing it all has not always been masterful. Regardless, life is good, all the joints are still bending (and cracking), and there’s still air in my tires. So what more can one ask for?... More newsletters you say? That’s fair.

Today’s newsletter is shorter than usual. We are looking to get the word out that the Annual DC Rainmaker Open House, is making its way back to “Bi-Annual” status.

That’s right, anyone living nearby Amsterdam, or who may have summer travel plans to Europe can now mark their calendars for Saturday, the 13th of July. We will have our usual schedule of events with a fun run in the morning followed by an evening event with some pretty awesome special guests!

As always, the event is free, but you will have to reserve a free ticket on the Shopify Store so we can at least have an idea of who and how many are coming, as well as cap the numbers we can safely host in our space.

Not to be forgotten, we will have some non-tech companies in attendance who are very generously giving products for prizes and goody bags.

Last but not least. I have FINALLY twisted Ray’s arm with the idea of a silent auction of some previously loved tech gear floating around the DCR Cave. There will be many prizes to be won, and proceeds will go back into the beer fund for the next DC Rainmaker event.

That’s all for today. Stay tuned for more newsletter goodness to come your way. We have some fun stuff coming out very very soon!

Cheers,

Bobbie
