Happy Weekend!

This is a quick heads-up newsletter to let folks know that not only have the big sports tech sales started as you might have seen in Friday's post (including $200-$250 off the Garmin Fenix 6 Series) but, since last night virtually all of the smart trainers are now 20% off as well (for US folks, more on European sales in a few seconds)! This includes the Wahoo KICKR V5 (latest), Wahoo KICKR CORE, Wahoo CLIMB gradient simulator, Elite Direto XR, Elite Sterzo Smart, Elite Tuo, Saris H3, Saris M2, Tacx Flux series, and plenty more. Meanwhile, for US folks the Tacx NEO 2T is on sale for $200 off. All of these can be found here at the constantly updated deals page - I'm adding more as we speak.

Oh - and if you were looking to pick up the Garmin Rally power meter pedals (those are the ones you can swap between different cleat types including SPD, SPD-SL, and Look KEO), those are also 20% off. Everything is listed here.

Note that for these US-based smart trainer deals, history has told us (repeatedly, every year), that once these specific retailers run out of stock - it's all over (and usually that doesn't last long). Also, history has repeatedly told us we won't see anything better than 20% off in the US for smart trainers.

So what about European deals? In general, most of the best ones tend to come later, usually on Black Friday weekend itself. However, there are a few I've been adding to the list already on the page (towards the bottom). The most notable one to call out right now though is the Tacx NEO 2SE, which is 33% off for the UK, and ~21% off for the EU (exact discount depends slightly on country). And the Tacx NEO Bike Smart for £400 off - the first and only sale we've ever seen on the NEO Smart Bike.

The Tacx NEO 2 SE is literally just a Tacx NEO 2, but with the expanded thru-axle adapter support (I explain it here). I use the Tacx NEO 2 (original edition) at home as my main trainer and just got off the trainer 20 minutes ago. Whereas at the DCR Cave I tend to use whatever I'm testing, and the KICKR V5 if not testing anything else. Here's me, below, during my just finished workout (and yes, keepin' it real with the slightly blurry photo in the dark shed):

With that, I'll leave you to your Sundays, and fear not, The Girl will be back this week with the usual (and probably far funnier) DCR Newsletter. I just wanted to get this alert out, since we haven't seen this good of trainer deals across the board in two years.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for supporting the site via the links on the deals page or below - it's much appreciated!

Cheers!

P.S. - Oh, and this week is gonna be packed with some new-device reviews, including the Whoop 4.0 review, as well as likely also the Oura V3 review. And hey, who knows what else will sneak in there!
