www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/03/this-weekend-race-pacing-cake.html

Though, as I’ll talk about next week in a dedicated pacing post – there’s actually a lot of ways you can use a running watch to pace by, all with slightly different results.

Wahoo KICKR CORE Zwift One: In-Depth Review

www.dcrainmaker.com/2024/02/wahoo-kickr-review.html

The above two are mostly just useful when pairing to more basic smartwatches that might not support power meters/cadence, but I don’t expect it matters to too many people.

www.dcrainmaker.com/2015/03/very-random-things-weekend.html

In case you’re curious, those giant Nutella plastic jars you see are actually more expensive by weight than cheaper containers, which is why you see them for show, but in reality everyone uses the smaller containers (watch the next time you’re in Paris and order a Nutella crepe).

Nifty Garmin Edge 500 Custom Mount

The mount works with the Edge 200, Edge 500, and Edge 800, which all use the quarter turn quick release kit: It should be noted though that while it does allow the FR310XT and FR910XT with the quick release kit to mount to it (since they also share the quarter-turn mount), those two units have the mounts on them oriented 90*, which means that if you were to place the watch in this particular molded mount, it would be turned 90* (in other words, facing the side of your bike).
