For example in Paris it’ll almost always trigger on an approaching Velib (bike sharing bike) when I’m stationary, but not so much on a single-speed bike.

And just as we neared the marked finish line, a pair of cyclists on Velib’s (our big heavy bike-sharing program here) zoomed up it, with the winner raising his hands in victory as he crossed the line about a foot ahead of the other.

In warmer months we would have just found a Velib or taken the Metro, but it was pretty chilly that time of night and given we were soaked from sweat and rain the Autolib was a better choice.
