Here’s that group that delivered either before or at their announced timelines (iBike doesn’t really count since they were already shipping): - TACX with their 3.0 software suit - Garmin with their Edge 800 Who almost made it? - LeMond with the Revolution Trainer (missed it by about two weeks) - Wahoo and the Bike Sensor Case (missed by a two-three weeks) And who hasn’t released but is still on target (at least based on public statements)? - Brim Brothers and their power meter (2012) - Garmin with their Vector Power Meter (H2 2011) - Timex gets to sneak into this category since they said “next season”, which we are still in.

Thus, companies like Garmin and Wahoo need to now change their prerequisite wording to denote something akin to: “Strava Live Segments requires Strava Summit membership, either the $7.99 a month tier for which there is no distinct name, or the cheaper ‘Analysis’ Summit pack.” – No problems, I’m sure that’ll fit on the side of the box in the small print.
