Weekend workouts involves the age old internal debate of, is it to cold, windy, wet for running / biking (delete as applicable). I am to tired, achey or not feeling it (delete as applicable). Then once the debate is done and I mange to get out the door, I realise this exercise lark is quite good after all.
after seeing a local time trail event last weekend and not having raced for years post a big injury I was pondering what it might take to get race fit, a lot older and damaged, I decided to look forward not back. Looking forward Diet starting, stretching starting, endurance miles and run planned for the weekend and already have a new cutting edge design for a New TT frame fork on the sketch pad. Its not about coming back; its about going forward and stepping into the unknown. How good can I get, not how good I was. It’s kind of freeing.. so it begins..
