This weekend I’m helping pace my friend who’s going for the FTK on a local trail. In total it’s going to be 44 miles, but I’m out of shape so I’m just doing the first 14 with him.
Planning to sneak in a favorite fall mountain bike ride before my kid’s birthday party.

Two trail races tomorrow. First up is Trailwolf 11 km, and a few hours later Nightwolf 11 km where you are required to run solo all the way with head lamp, and with spooky elements along the way. Part of the route will be trough an old mine, where you’re not allowed to use the lamp, but instead the cave walls will be lit by candle light.

Hey there, I snapped my collarbone yesterday and have my shoulders braced in a harness. So my weekend will be spent taking painkillers and slowly mending.
Last weekend I had the most amazing gravel ride with a friend, we were climbing all day, endless gravel and fields, just perfect views, even with the morning fog.
Next weekend I shall hopefully be jumping back in to Zwift.

Trying to rebuild the base and drop some ( a lot) of COVID lbs. So I will be getting two five mile treadmill runs in while watching The Morning Show.
Depending on how cold it gets and how much snow Calgary gets! Long run of 14-16kms or on the stationary bike for a while.
I’m on full time kid duty so I’ll be running laps around the block with an 8 & 5 year old chasing me/ chasing them. The plan is 4+ miles each day and add on what I can with the 5 year old on the trail a bike.
I also take them to the skate park and try to shred as best I can with them. The 8 year old is getting pretty good at huckin’ it!
I’ll definitely be doing a short run this weekend!

Weather dependent, I will spend 2/2.5 hours on the bike Saturday. Sunday a7-9 mile run. And large amounts of foam rolling both days trying to recover before going back to work Monday.

Long Run saturday morning and testing my new Wilier bike sunday.
Just done an FTP Test with my new Tacx Flux S and intervals on my Concept 2 Rower; so I think a steady recovery run with my dog on Saturday and a steady MTB ride on Sunday (who am I kidding? there’s no such thing as a steady MTB ride in my world; it’ll be jumps, berms and drop off all around!)
Try to keep my run streak alive – 1 mile both days – while I recover from a L4-L5 disc extrusion!
On Saturday I’m going to cheer for my kid when he’s doing his CX race! On Sunday riding my race bike and then hit the couch with a beer on my side to watch the RVV :-)

I never really plan for any weekend workouts, they just happen if I feel like doing them.
50ish mile ride and then recovery. I’ve been nursing a bad knee (patella tendinitis) for a while now and trying to take it fairly easy before getting back at training hard.
