I’m sure many of you received various sports gadgets over the last few weeks as part of the holidays. But for those unlucky elves who received only a half-eaten gel packet in their Christmas stocking from their not-so-significant others, I’ve got a festivus of a present for you: This giveaway.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell (or get points instead that are kinda like cash). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero 8 Black to a Garmin Fenix watch to a massive pallet of nutrition gels, to the Favero Assioma power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Actually, it’ll cover exactly the Wahoo KICKR CLIMB, since that’s on sale to $499 right now. Whatever floats your boat (Note: While they don’t technically sell boats, they do sell stand-up paddle boards…which, are kinda like boats).
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. F6), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that? Oh, and if you just want that amazing gadget t-shirt above, you can pick that up here. Or, become a DCR Supporter here!
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Sunday, December 29th, 2019 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time [Update – through Dec 31st when I remembered to turn this off]. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

Kristian
fēnix 6 for sure!
Some Garmin cyclocomputer, around 5XX

Could really do with an indoor trainer.
Hi Ray,
I’d love a Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire Pro.
Been looking to replace my trusted Suunto Ambit 3 Vertical for some time now. Since I’ve gotten into trail running in recent years, the map capability is a big plus, as I often run on unfamiliar oaths.
The rest of their cool multi sport tech is obviously great as well. I prefer to Fenix line for it’s everyday looks. Sapphire since I’m always a bit clumsy and tend to scratch the watch glass.
Price is currently a little high so hoping for price drops later this year, or to enjoy the $500 Clever Training giveaways.
Just got a KIKCR trainer so what else could I possibly need?! :-)
Happy new year
Hi Ray!

I’d go with the Forerunner 945. I’ve been wanting to upgrade for a while.
That Wahoo KICKR Climb sure would make those inclines a little more fun!
A new Fenix watch would be nice!
I’d have loved a new smart trainer so that I can avoid going outdoors on the bike for another few months. Much safer and a win win for my husband who can get out and do his own training while I am at home on the trainer.
A Kickr Climb would match perfect as i just started with a Kickr Core.
Probably a Gopro Hero 8 yo hace some fun!

Still deciding, Garmin 945 or Gopro 8…
Bike trainer would be great :)
A Garmin Forerunner 645 Music would really help to take my running to the next level.
So many choices either some Vector Pedals for my girlfriend to start training with power, or maybe the GoPro 8 to document our soon to be world travels!
Fenix 6 is great
Need a new 4iii power meter to go on my gravel bike.
and 945 with music because of music
powermeter, spider, or power pedals
Have rear breaks located under the BB on my B’twin so no left crank option as a power meter for me.
Favero Assioma seems to be a nice option to get power on the bike for the price point.
