I’m sure many of you received various sports gadgets over the last few weeks as part of the holidays. But for those unlucky elves who received only a half-eaten gel packet in their Christmas stocking from their not-so-significant others, I’ve got a festivus of a present for you: This giveaway.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell (or get points instead that are kinda like cash). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero 8 Black to a Garmin Fenix watch to a massive pallet of nutrition gels, to the Favero Assioma power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Actually, it’ll cover exactly the Wahoo KICKR CLIMB, since that’s on sale to $499 right now. Whatever floats your boat (Note: While they don’t technically sell boats, they do sell stand-up paddle boards…which, are kinda like boats).
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. F6), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that? Oh, and if you just want that amazing gadget t-shirt above, you can pick that up here. Or, become a DCR Supporter here!
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Sunday, December 29th, 2019 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time [Update – through Dec 31st when I remembered to turn this off]. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

I’d replace my non-HR Fenix 3 with a 6 Pro, just for the maps if nothing else.
I would love a smart trainer. Currently slogging it out in a dumb trainer and wishing I had more cash to upgrade.
I’d get a Garmin edge 830 as my 520 battery life is getting shorter
I would love the GoPro Hero 8 for taking in bike trips as my current GoPro is getting pretty long in the tooth.
I’d like to buy the latest Cyclic Fly 6 & 12 models. My original Kickstarter ones are a bit tired and I want to get back into commuting to work!
A polar Vantage v Titan.
A GoPro Hero Camera would be my first choice in order to capture those family moments in time as they happen. Nothing like an action video clip or picture to remind ourselves of amazing family times!
I would love to get a new Garmin Forerunner. Still using the 920XT.
Happy Holidays Ray!
Would love to run in a pair of Carbon X and Vaporfly’s to see what all this shoe fuss is about.
Think it would have to be towards a set of power pedals for this years training.
I wanted a new Garmin watch but I got socks instead lol
I will get a Garmin 530.
A GoPro Hero Camera would be my first choice in order to capture those family moments in time as they happen. Nothing like an action video clip or picture to remind ourselves of amazing family times!
I’d love to get a set of Favero’s. Maybe even do a hack like Shane? Probably not.
So many toys to choose from but I’d probably replace my old computrainer with something modern.
I’d love a wahoo kickr climb :)
Vector pedals probably.
I would love a Garmin 830 bundle or Wahoo Roam bundle. Thanks and happy holiday!
Maybe a new Kickr? Current one is 1. Generation Kickr.
Garmin Vivoactive 4….. or 945 …..or Fenix 6
I would like to get a Garmin Forerunner 245. I run a lot of races in Central Park, and usually die around Mile 4 due to the notorious Harlem Hill. Would love to get the 245, and utilize the Pace Pro so I can race more efficiently. Also I am running my first Marathon (NYC 2020), so it would be a lovely pace guide!
I want the Edge 530!!! Come on winning pick!
Garmin Fenix 6 because my Fenix 5 is soooooooo 2018
Suunto 9 baro please!
A Garmin Edge 530 …or similar Wahoo, Stages…because my Edge 500 doesn’t hold a charge as it used to
Wahoo kicker because I am still using a serviceable but older Trac Trainer. On the other hand , you are in the Netherlands so if you have Stroopwafel press or cheese slicer , I’d take that. Vrolijk Feestdagen!
I need a new trainer so I would get a Tacx Neo 2t
Keen on a pair of Assioma power meter pedals, as my only option for training with power is on my indoor smart trainer.
Carbon X and Vapor Flys!
Definitely a power meter. My bike riding sucks and using power to help with improving my bike performance would be amazing! But I guess I could also train more ?
Stryd run power meter or Airofit breathing trainer
A Garmin Felix will get me going in 2020!!
I’d love a pair of Assioma, just to get a measure of my power throttle. Unleash!
A Fenix 6 for Christmas would have been nice, for all those hikes and bike rides in the new year.
I’m definitely in the market for some power meter pedals and that was just too pricey to ask friends and family for!
I’d get a wahoo elemnt bolt for my wife and a gopro to record the things we do on our bikes
Would get a new Fenix watch
kickr climb :)
I’d get a smart trainer (adding some of my own money), since I’m spending more time training indoors on Zwift than outdoors. Which one, I’d have to read the reviews here first, which I haven’t done yet since I didn’t want to be tempted to spend more money than I have.
Thanks Ray and family for the great content!
Garmin Fenix!
1. Stryd
2. Whatever Garmin is available for rest of sum. It’s that simple.
Stryd – I want to try a new way for training, based on power. Garmin – I need good watch for 40km+ runs. And my own Apple Watch are very unstable
I’d probably go with the Favero Assioma power meter to have a power meter I can switch between bikes.
What about a new smart trainer. Won’t be the lucky one anyways.
A new Garmin Fenix.
Definitely would get a garmin 945. I currently have a 35, but the 945 would be so much better for triathlons!
I would love a Wahoo KICKR CLIMB. I had to sell my last one to buy landscape materials for the house. :(
Hi, a Neo 2T please. Need a Zwift upgrade!
Dear Santa,
I really wanted a Garmin forerunner 935, but for some reason you opted not to give me one. I’ve been reduced to entering online contests to try to win one, however unlikely. Well, here’s hoping.
A kickr core to up my training game!
Would like a new trainer !
I so want a 945. The old 910 just doesn’t cut it anymore
Has to go towards Assioma pedals. They are on the list for 2020 one way or another. Thanks Ray.
Hmmm… let me think!
Maybe, I would go for a Polar (Vantage V) or a Garmin (245 or 945) watch.
I really wanted an srm power meter, so i can measure my wimpy watts.
I would love a Kickr Core.
I’m now on my fourth strap for the 920xt, so I think I’d like to finally upgrade to a 945. I’ve spent £60 just on new straps for the current one!
Thanks for offering up these give aways Ray!
Getting a Garmin Fenix 6
Stages power meter. I’m a Speedplay guy so the pedal based systems don’t work for me.
A GoPro would be cool
I’d love a real GoPro to replace my knock-off one. I’d love to have an entire workout recorded…
I would buy a Decent MK2 but since Garmin has not released such I would go for a Fenix 6 and hope for a MKX later release.
I would go for the Tacx Neo 2 to improve my winter training time.
Thanks!!!
Indoor trainer to have an option when the weather is crap.
Garmin FR 945? Why not!
Well I’ve been on the hunt for a power meter, but my old 920xt is starting to get buggy so I may need to replace that first.
I want a hippopotamus for Christmas. Only that or a Garmin Fenix will do. Honestly, I need the “go home” function.
Garmin fenix 6
I would love a new Bike trainer. Thanks DC!
I’d get the vector 3 pedals for my wife. Thanks Ray!
I’d want my first power meter
I would really like money towards that awesome drone. Or even some power pedals.
New Fenix series watch!
Would love a Garmin 945. Love my 920xt but the dang thing will run forever, so I need to hit the lottery here to justify getting a new watch.
Andy indoor trainer that doesn’t make much noise and let me train early or late in the day, or maybe just a work stand to give my bikes proper love :)
A garmin venu for my wife! Your review was great and she would love it!
I got no gadgets for Christmas :) I would pick a new Garmin Fenix 6s!
GoPro Hero 8 or a lifetime supply of cycling nutrition.
Would love a hero 8 for filming
Always so many things to buy! Probably I would buy a new Garmin for my bike. My 520 has kissed the floor a few too many…
I would enjoy that Wahoo KICKR CLIMB, because it can integrate with my phone and help keep me motivated in the cold cold winter.
I would like to get Fenix 5plus, to replace my dying, too much used, Suunto Ambit3.
I would get a Favero Assioma power meter.
I’d love a Garmin Varia to hopefully let me keep track of those nasty cars
My wish list includes a hero 8 or a drone. Maybe if I win could be a N+1 situation.
Would love the 945 now that all the bugs are worked out.
FR945
More coffee
I’ll choose a GoPro MAX because i don’t have an action camera yet!
and maybe offer the prize to someone who need it!
A Fenix 6 watch because I want the new bigger display to show more data fields and also for the other features like music, long battery life etc. I have a FR935 that I love but who wouldn’t want to upgrade?
I would go with a Garmin 945. A nice, lighter replacement for my Fenix 3 HR.
Still dreaming with pedal power meter.
I would get a power meter. Been scoping them out for a while hoping for a decent budget version to come along
Thanks, Ray! GoPro FTW so I can prove to the non-believers that I actually do go outside sometimes.
Would love a Fenix 6!! Thanks for the giveaway, Ray.
Definitely go towards getting my first indoor trainer!
The Assioma Pedal Based Cycling Power Meter, would love to have a power meter that is easily transferable between my bikes!
I’d get the Garmin 830 because my current bike computer is a dinosaur ?
Garmin 945… Need an upgrade.
Wahoo KICKR CLIMB to make the cold winters indoors a bit more fun.
Hero 8!
