Today is Friday – you made it to the end of the week – and almost to the end of spring. But more importantly, today is also National Strawberry Shortcake Day (Don’t trust me? Look it up.) Unfortunately, I don’t expect to eat any Strawberry Shortcake today. Or tomorrow. And sure, I could have titled this ‘Father’s Day Gadget Giveaway’, but some countries celebrate that on other weekends (lookn’ at you, Australia).
In any case, it seems reason enough to give away some gadget goodness. But fear not, I won’t be restricting this to those in specific countries (Australia or otherwise). Anyone, anywhere on earth, is welcome to join as always. Also, I think we just need more cake holidays to have faux reasons for me to give stuff away. It’s been far too long.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on almost anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero 7 Black (which is actually $70 off through Sunday, the lowest we’ve seen it), to the just shipping new Stages Dash units, to a random pair of socks, the Garmin Forerunner 945, or heck, even towards a new power meter. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats…wait, update, they do!). Also note, your credit is in US dollars, not Australian – otherwise you’d get less. Nobody wants less.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win). Or, you can leave a description of which product your dad would want for Father’s Day.
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. FR945), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, June 17th, 2019 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

I’d probably get a bike trainer for my son. Thanks Ray!
Buy a trainer to start with my pain cave!!!
Power meter. The only missing bit for complete training data ?
I would buy a Garmin Fenix 5 Plus, not sure yet which one. My current watch is starting to misbehave…
Probably a power meter to pair with my new 530
A Neo so I don’t wake the kids when I train in the house.
Garmin Vector 3 Pedals. One of the few power meters I haven’t tried yet. Love your reviews and your commitment to tech!
A Wahoo Element Roam because I’ve been looking around for a bike computer/
Indoor Trainer. We just had our first child and I need to build a pain cave as time is very limited now.
I would get Garmin Forerunner 945. Pick me, please!
A new running watch (can’t decide) to replace both my FR15 and vivosmart 3!
Probably the WAHOO ELEMENT ROAM, or the Garmin Edge 830. I’ve been having a tough time choosing between the two. I’ve been getting more and more into cycling each year, and want to take myself to the next level. I currently don’t have a cyclocomputer aside from Strava, and I think having the data at a glance would help me improve my technique – plus the GPS would come in handy when I start traveling with my bike to unfamiliar areas.
I would put it towards some sort of power meter!
Garmin 530 to take my CAAD12 out more often and explore new routes
Oooh, I’d like Garmin Fenix 5S! My current watch doesn’t support multisport and I have been running, swimming, and riding a lot lately, so that would come in handy.
Who doesn’t need another GoPro !
Since I can’t afford for my kids to charge my credit card for a new Garmin for my Fathers Day, I could really use to win this. Time to move up from my beginners Garmin FR35 to at least a 235/245. Please?!
Have always wanted a GoPro, because I live and play in such an wild and beautiful part of the world.
I think I’d spring for a Tacx Flux 2 trainer. The low-speed power capability would be awesome for a slow fat dude like me.
Probably a Garmin smartwatch, not sure which one!
For myself I’d want to get the new Garmin watch, for my dad maybe a pair of bluetooth headphones
Garmin Forerunner 945 will be the first watch for running.
I’d probably get a gopro hero for pictures on the run.
A 945 to replace my Fenix 3, I’d get the same for dad.
Garmin 530 or a something for power sounds tempting
Looking to get a power meter such as …
Velocomp AeroPod Aerodynamic Drag (CdA) Power Meter. Happy Father’s Day, to all the Dads!
A Cycliq Fly 12 and Cycliq Fly 6 because as a father to 6 girls you can never be TOO safe on the roads! and because it’s not Father’s Day in Finland ?? either?
My 920XT is getting rather old, so a new Spotify’able device would be great.
I would like to upgrade my FR735 to FR945…or power pedals. Thanks
Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, to go with my Kickr Snap. I don’t like the default Wahoo smart training app, and from what I have read, it seems that you can create good training rides to use when pairing with the Kickr Snap
I would love to get a new Garmin Edge 1030 :) :) :)
Power meter please :-)
Would love a new tri watch. The 945 looks great.
I would by my dad a cycling gps as he has recently started cycling on a road bike. Helping his new growing passion would be good

Part of me would probably sell one of my trainers and get kicked. The other party if me is really but sure.

My dad would love an FR945 for Fathers Day
Fr245
Please add me
I’d use it towards a stages sram road power meter since I am done waiting on the iQ2 (and they turned I to pedals.) ?
Garmin Forerunner 645 Music please, because my Vivoactive HR just doesn’t give me enough data.
Go Pro Hero 7 Black
A GoPro Hero 7 would be awesome
Hello Ray,
I’ve been reading your reviews for years and your site is the one I share with every friend I want to advise the best way when they are considering buying a sport device. All my personnal sport devices’ choices have been done after reading your reviews and thank you for that. I go to my office in Paris (near République) from Val d’Oise Everyday, and I sometimed think I may see you on the road (I previously worked in Chatillon so I Crossed Paris ). Well I’ve riden more than 100K kilometers over the years just for commuting and I would like to have power tap pedals because I have no idea of the power I can sustain during my rides. The only reference I have is from the indoor cycles of the gym. So I would be grateful if you fullfilled my wish. Regards. Stephane
go pro hero 7 black please
thanks
A Garmin 645 and Edge 130 Bundle :)
Looking for a trainer
I’d get a power meter.
Some sort of new running watch. Exact type TBD.
The prize money would go towards an action camera, garmin virb most likely. My wife just broke her back and is stuck in bed wondering what I’m up to when I’m not caring for her. She wants to see some windsurfing, surfing and bike action so she at least feel like she’s doing something.

Thanks
Hi there, I am from the Netherlands, and as you may know….when we can enter a contest for winning something, we are in. So here it is. What I would like to win is a camera. Why? I bought end of this winter(!) a smart trainer on Marktplaats and now I can train when it rains over here (and yes it does the whole year round), I started using Rouvy and what I would like is to record a ride with my bike computer (wahoo) with video (the camera) and redo the ride on Rouvy with my Flux. And what I would really like is to record the 1st ride when we are all together with Ray and GpLama on our ride the 14th of July and publish that one on Rouvy !!!
I would chose some front and rear bike cameras. Cheers.
I would change my reliable Edge 500 with a new 520 plus. Thanks
A GoPro Hero 7 black or some othre filmingwidgets would probably be my first choice.
A new Trainer, or a FR945, Edge 830 or Wahoo…

I would love a Go Pro Hero 7.
Edge 830 Bundle. So I could give my Edge Explore to my girlfriend ;-)
Love the Garmin 945. I have been doing triathlon for a few years now. A watch like that would be very useful, and unfortunately I can’t afford anything like that with 3 kids in college
