Have some fun in the travel section.
I travel a fair bit, both for work and for fun. Here’s a bunch of random trip reports and daily trip-logs that I’ve put together and posted. I’ve sorted it all by world geography, in an attempt to make it easy to figure out where I’ve been.
My Photography Gear: The Cameras/Drones/Action Cams I Use Daily
The most common question I receive outside of the “what’s the best GPS watch for me” variant, are photography-esq based. So in efforts to combat the amount of emails I need to sort through on a daily basis, I’ve complied this “My Photography Gear” post for your curious minds (including drones & action cams!)! It’s a nice break from the day-to-day sports-tech talk, and I hope you get something out of it!

I would put a down payment on a wahoo Kickr.
Thanks Ray
I’d upgrade to the 945!
One of the newer Garmin watches is on my list!
Favero Asiomas
A 945 to listen to music during my runs!
Fenix 5 – why? Why not – great piece of kit
Garmin 530.
I would like some bike shoes and running shoes. Good wide comfy bike shoes are too expensive.
A new power meter for my wife
A pair of Cycliq or Varia lights. Safety is good. (If I hadn’t recently purchased the Edge 830 and the Assioma power meter, it would have been one of those).
Pick me please…I am a dad of three
A new garmin FR935 to replace my original one that got lost. ?
Hi, it would have to be the GoPro Hero 7 with that super smooth stabilisation.
A 945 of course…
GoPro Hero 7 since I want to add a second one to the bike for front and rear views during races. Thanks!
I can’t justify a power meter, but would love one.
A Garmin radar light for my daughter who is becoming a great cyclist!
Thanks Ray,
As winter starts to bite here, a Kickr Core would be very welcome!
A 945 for the wife.
Garmin Edge 830 because I need to get moving on the bike to train for the Gong ride
A new Hero 7 would be wonderful as I could ditch the Gimbal on my 4 :D
I will replace my 3 year old garmin watch which is still functional but no longer as cool as it once was
945
Het a little more juice and would be interesting to see the pulseox in action. That and…well it’s the newest thing.
Thanks for the opportunity. I would put this towards a smart trainer, that would encourage my fitness on those iffy days outside!
Probably the 945 since I am using a 920.
Have a Happy Father’s Day Ray!
I’ll use Garmin for my upcoming race
A GoPro 7 because who doesn’t like pictures
Have to be a power meter for me
I’d get an Edge 530: faster processor, non-touch screen, maps, climb pro…
New Garmin…..
Fenix 5X Plus for an upgrade!
Definitely a Garmin FR945 because why not get another Garmin watch…
Def go towards new gopro!
I’m looking at the Edge 530, or 830, or maybe a Fenix 5 Plus. My Fenix 3 HR is getting long in the tooth.
A 945 to replace my aging 910
GoPro!
So many neat gadgets! Maybe a Favero power meter, Wahoo Roam, or the new GoPro? Not a need, but cool stuff for sure!
GoPro Hero 7 Black
A Garmin Edge 830 would be the perfect Father’s Day gift for my husband.
New 945
I’d get the Garmin 945 to replace my 220 and get more metrics!
I’d get the new Garmin Edge 1030.
I’m thinking a new bike computer that is compatible with the Garmin Varia.

I would like to get the new wahoo element.
Forerunner 945. Wouldn’t mine upgrading my 935.
A Hero 7 because I want an action camera and it seems like the one to get. Or a power meter :)
I’d be getting a power meter for sure! Keen as mustard to train with power.
I’d pick up a Garmin Edge 1030 . My Edge 1000 is feeling a little dated.
Wahoo Elemnt Roam… for the added mapping features not available on my Wahoo Elemnt.
My choice would be the GoPro. My hobby is photography, so you can imagine how many times I stop on a run/hike/ride to take a picture.
Perhaps a GoPro because I was in a race a few weeks ago where a guy got stabbed in the leg with a through-axle handle. His bike landed just right when he crashed and captured great footage such that for a split second you can see the handle bulging under his skin. I figure I need a camera to capture fun things like that.
Wahoo Kickr to train indoors when it rains.
Thanks!
I’d put it toward a Wahoo Kickr Snap. Tired of getting out of shape during the winter months then clawing my way back each summer.
Definitely a new running watch. And maybe a power meter (a first for on the road!)
GoPro Hero 7 Black! Cycling in Italian Alps this summer; record the memories!
I’ll go with the Wahoo kickr to get my winter legs moving more.

I dream about a new Garmin bike computer or dual power meter
I want a Forerunner 945 because my Fenix 3 just pooped out!
Either stages head unit, 945 or Favero assioma pedals? Hmmm… too many choices.
Amazing giveaway as always. Perhaps I would get the new Garmin Edge to replace my 520 Plus?
A new watch, time to retire my Ambit3. Most likely a Coros Apex
I’d put it towards some GPS watch that can help me navigate to the moon and back. Preferably with sapphire glass, all on a single charge, while telling me my if my HRV was acceptable for the trip. Yeah, that’d make me happy.
I would get a Wahoo head unit and give my current unit to my father. (he’s much more a recreational cyclist)
Something to replace my good old FR220. Probably, Fenix 5 or FR935
Fenix 5… because it is a beauty
I would get the wife a new watch. She’s one of those who will just wear the old one until it dies. Wait!…I can fix this with a hammer! New watch time!
I’d want to use the credit for a new smart trainer that’s more quiet than my on wheel trainer. My wife works then let me train when she’s home in our small apartment.
A Garmin vector power meter for my training and races! For all the cycling Dynamics!
So hard to choose. I’d get my wife something to help with a big race she’s entered. Maybe a power meter or tools for her mtn bike.
Garmin Edge 530 because I mostly ride inside and when I do ride outside i usually right the same old routes…so it’s features are obviously essential for my life ;)
Pedal based power meter for my road bike
I’m hoping for the $500 credit to use towards a new trainer
I’d get a Garmin Edge 830! I’m a sucker for bad software and firmware, can’t wait to see what surprises I will get after having a 820, 810, 130, 500… And some more…?

A Quarq power meter would be very nice, thanks.
Garmin FR 945 to replace my current combo of an aging, original Vivoactive and FR 910xt. I’m overdue for a refresh!
Probably put it towards a power meter as it is the one big piece of fitness tech I don’t have. Would love one of the new Garmin watches, but my Fenix 5S still works great.
I also really want to try a Stryd power meter
I would love to get a Fenix5! Thank you Clever Training and Ray for always rewarding your followers!

Last one lasted a while, but not reading the memory card any longer, due for replacement
Fr 945 because I have no sense of direction and the built in maps seem more convenient than breaking out my phone mutiple e
times a run. And I never figured out how to follow the breadcrumb trails on older models
I would get a Garmin forerunner 245 to replace my polar m430 to use it with stryd as training with hr monitors only in a hilly evironment is not so realiable.
I need an indoor trainer to keep me going in winter. I would go with the Wahoo Kickr. Thanks!
A new bike computer to replace my Garmin 510. Something like a wahoo elemnt bolt or roam should do the trick.
Garmin 830 bundle. I would like a touch screen gps.
I’d like give my significant other a Garmin Forerunner 945 for Father’s Day.
I’d get a Garmin 945. I have done Ironman 140.6 races in the past 8 months (my first 2 triathlons of any kind) and don’t have anything that tells me speed, pace, heart rate, etc. It would be great to have something like this, but after buying so much tri stuff already, it’s going to have to wait.
Forerunner 945 to replace my 235 or maybe a Stryd power meter…the options
Power Meter Pedals
945! For sports and lifestyle. Pity that prices are still kinda high for wearables!
