My Photography Gear: The Cameras/Drones/Action Cams I Use Daily
The most common question I receive outside of the “what’s the best GPS watch for me” variant, are photography-esq based. So in efforts to combat the amount of emails I need to sort through on a daily basis, I’ve complied this “My Photography Gear” post for your curious minds (including drones & action cams!)! It’s a nice break from the day-to-day sports-tech talk, and I hope you get something out of it!

I’ve had my eye on a Fenix 5s plus. I need a watch with better training tools and maps for hiking.
I’m thinking a 945. Why? Why not?
I would use the money on a set of power meters so I finally can figure out why my left leg always die when I ride long rides.. ?
GoPro Hero7 – let’s be honest, I don’t “need” a GoPro. But it’s pretty freaking sweet and it would make my life sweeter than a strawberry shortcake!
Would love the latest GoPro with its super-smooooth stabilised footage
I think it’s about time for me to upgrade to the Garmin 945.
I would probably get a new Garmin watch.
Need a new running watch! I’m better than my apple watch nowadays.

A new Favero Assioma power meter would be very helpful for my bike training!
I would get a bike computer for my wife’s new bike.
Definitely the GoPro!
What better way to record the club ride and the boys shredding
i want action camera – need that to shoot my swimming progress (or its absence!!!)
I’d love a more capable watch to make the endless cold days of Nordic skiing just that bit more enjoyable. Fingers Crossed
GRM 945 Because I just broke my old forerunner
Tired of having crappy video/photos using my phone, would get a GoPro :)
New watch

I would like have a powermeter for my training. I ride until 20000km in a year
Seems great to win.
I would buy a power meter for myself and just send my dad a card. sorry pops!
I would buy a garmin to replace my old one !
I would get a Gopro Black 7. I was just trying to record some video with my 2 year old son on Mt Mitchell on my phone. Didn’t work out well. Our family is ready to step up the recording game.
That would go a long ways towards a power meter.
I’d have to decide between a new Kicker (I would like to use a wheel-off option), Garmin Fenix 5 (I’d like to have a watch since I ride numerous types of bikes) or Garmin Varia (I use the Elemnt so I’ll need the light and handlebar sensor to boot). Thanks for doing this!!
Power meters to the people!! ☺️
I’d get the GoPro Hero 7. No more bike video shakes!
A power meter would be fantastic for my summer rides!
I am in desaprate need of a new training watch, I currently use the beautifully large Orange garmin, not sure of the number it has been that long. I love my watch but it is starting to have occasional freak outs. Really I am looking for anything to light my training on fire, between a disaster of a marathon two months ago and a pending divorce (27 years) I need something to get me back on track!!! Love reading about your adventures…
Garmin 945. I need the music for the run
I would like to win the new Garmin Forerunner 945. This is the most amazing sports watch ever made. No doubt!
I would love to upgrade to a Forerunner 645 Music. I love my FR235, but would it’d be even better having the built in music on my runs. Someday…*tear*
I’d probably get a new forerunner to replace my aging 910xt that seems to be short changing me on distance lately. ?
I think it’s time for a new watch!
A Garmin Virb, or perhaps an Instict for the hubs
I would get a fancy new Fenix watch with HR monitoring to help assess my sleep as well as my running.
I’d love to invest in a good trainer as after this marathon training cycle I want to switch things up.
A Garmin Varia RTL511 radar would be nice and keep me safe on the road.
I’d probably upgrade my Fenix 3 since its my oldest GPS device, but would also be tempted to go with a cycliq front rear set.
I would truly enjoy receiving a credit towards the purchase of a new power meter for my new bike!
Would probably go for a Garmin 830 – looking to upgrade.
I will buy powermeter Garmin Vector 3 to my cycle.

A new power meter. My Gen1 Stages is surviving with duct tape—the housing has cracked.
FR 245 Music, so my wife can quit carrying that stupid mp3 player.
I would definitely go for a Fenix 5 plus, my FR225 needs to be replaced.
I’d put it towards a Garmin watch. At least a Forerunner 935, maybe even a Fenix.
I would go for a Garmin Fenix watch.
I would take any Garmin Fenix series to see what is good about them.
Thanks!
Power meter would be ideal
Hi,
After suffering a robbery 8 weeks ago, I am replacing some gear neede. A new cam would be the perfect gift.
THANKS…
Would love to get a Fenix 5 for hiking with the maps! Thanks!
Garmin FR945. What’s not to like about upgrading to a feature rich watch with music, HR monitoring, and longer battery life? Sign me up!
Would like to get my hands on the new GoPro
Probably some multisports watch. Maybe Garmin or perhaps I should get domestic watch.
Definitely, Garmin 945 is my option, mainly to use the new music options.
I’d go for 1 of 2 things. Either a Garmin 945 to replace my aging 925 XT or a pair of Assiomo dual side power meters to replace my single side Stages power meter. Thanks for the chance to play. Love what you and the llama’s vlogs are all about!
Go Pro to make a video of giro delle dolomiti race
How fab! A GoPro would be nice!
Fenix 5x fro some summer hikes
I would buy a GoPro but the previous version.
I think it’s time to get a power meter
Looking at the Garmin Fenix!
It’s time to welcome my wife to the Garmin family so I’d buy a Fenix 5S.
I’d use it to buy a Garmin 245 to replace my old and very scratched and cracked 230.
A power meter so I can train better :)
Buy a power meter for my wife (or at least $500 towards it) cause she always has an excuse not to spend money on herself.
A new garmin would be great ^^
I would like to get new legs, but I don’t think that Clever Training sells them though. Therefore, a Garmin 645 to replace my perfectly fine 235, simply to add music would be a more realistic choice.
A Forerunner 945 would be the ideal replacement for my aging FR235 and to support my Tri-ambitions :)
Probably get the Garmin 245 Music.
I would like to get the Garmin 245 just because I want one.

The Garmin edge 1030 would be nice.
A Garmin 830 would go nicely with my new Vector 3s
I would love a power meter ! Would change things for the better. ??
A good Garmin running watch would be ideal.
I’d get the forerunner 945 because it looks amazing and because my forerunner 410 (yes it’s old) died after 7 years and many thousands of miles.
Polar Vantage V. I have used Polar for ages, and the Vantage seems nice and maybe it will give an advantage while training.?
A power meter
New Garmin with Spotify capabilities!
I would like to upgrade to a Garmin Forerunner 945 or a decent power meter to better analyze my training.
GoPro Hero 7 as my Hero 6 just had a nasty accident :(
I love Fridays ! I would get a Garmin 945 and upgrade my watch.
Looks good, light and all the features I would ever need.
(and I dont do open water swims :))
Forerunner 945 as my trusty 920xt has given up the ghost and there are still plenty of Triathlons left in my season
I would take a Go pro Hero 7 to record my summer advantures
I would go for a Garmin 945.
It will help to jump on Wahoo Kickr Core for instance ! Merci Ray :)
If I win, since I am registered for IMAZ this year and my ever faithful 920XT keeps losing it’s ability to properly tack my elevation (3rd replacement, tried all the tricks) and my coach says it looks like I’ve climbed Mount Everest (with a normal HR range) on every run (22,500 feet) and my Relive videos don’t show any details.. hello, it’s showing from 22,500 feet up….I will reward myself with a newer Multi sport watch, most likely a Garmin 935.
I’ve got the power, or at least I think I’ve got the power, a power meter would be useful!
Would love to get a drone or action camera
Favero Assioma Duo peddles so I can ride with power in the real world, not just on Zwift
