I’m sure many of you received various sports gadgets over the last few weeks as part of the holidays. But for those unlucky elves who received only a half-eaten gel packet in their Christmas stocking from their not-so-significant others, I’ve got a festivus of a present for you: This giveaway.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero7 Black to a Fitbit Versa smartwatch to a random pair of socks to the Favero Assioma power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats or even other vessels like submarines).
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Friday, December 28th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

I’d get either Garmin Fenix 5/5s/5x;been looking to upgrade my Fenix 3 for a while {^_^}
Oh I’m sure there’s a GoPro or nice camera that would be nice to have
I’d go for an updated set of the assioma pedals.
A Garmin Fenix would be great, since my current Polar M400 starts lacking battery life for my long runs
Coming season I will ride the Marmotte Pyrenees and am looking to attack some of my PB’s from earlier seasons. For some much needed consistent indoor training over these winter months and great outdoor fun during the rest of the season I would definitely like to get me some pedal based power meter like the Favero Electronics Assioma DUO.
Any crank based power meter.

Some money for a power meter would be fantastic!
I’d get a Fly6 and Fly12 for my bike.
Drone for me
I think i’d try a drone or something for action video like a GoPro hero
I would love to upgrade to a gopro 7 for even nicer video’s.
I would love either an indoor cycling trainer or a pair of power meter peddles so I can finally not be in last place when I get off the bike.
Probably get power pedals because I’m a numbers junkie.
Fenix 5X Plus for hiking and trail running
A smart trainer.
Hi. For me some Favero pedals please. Thanks
Ultra boost adidas

Garmin Fenix 5X – I would be more than happy to run with it :)
I’m looking at the Garmin fenix 5 Plus for its options and some marino socks for comfort.
Tacx Neo 2 for me !!!!!!!
I’d go for a pedal-based power meter to help with some winter training.
I wanted a Fenix 5+ to upgrade my 3
Hi Ray
The Garmin 935 would be perfect as my garmin is starting to act up and the battery life is starting to be less than I can do an Ironman in.
New turbo for the winter!
I would love to have a power meter for my road bike!
Hmmm… probably something from the Fenix 5 plus series, or maybe an Edge 1030, because who doesn’t need the latest and greatest sports tech!
I want a GoPro Hero 7, so that I can record all my paintball moments. Any sport action camera would do too.
A smart trainer!!
A smart trainer. Tacx Flux.
Gps watch
I’d love to put that $$ towards either a smart trainer or a set of power meter pedals like the Garmins or Assiomas. Since I have multiple bikes, being able to use whatever I selected on both bikes would be key, so the power meter pedals or KICKER CORE trainer are my top ideas at this point!
Since I didn’t get any cycling gear for the holidays, this would really be awesome!
Thanks for doing this, Ray!
Suunto 9 or Garmin 935, or ….
The new Tacx Neo 2 would be fantastic to go through the coming winter!
Happy holidays to all!
My ancient forerunner 220 ain’t lookin’ too hot. Would love a Fenix 5!
I’m not sure what I’d get. An upgrade to the Fenix 3 HR or a power meter for my newest bike or several cheaper items in the hope of improved fitness
A smart indoor trainer so that I can ride inside during Ohio winter
Wahoo kickr. I’m still jonesing after a smart trainer and it makes the most sense.
I’d put it towards another trainer as we are currently making a pain cave in our house!
I’d like to get a wearable that can do HRV and provide stress and recovery data.
Suunto Spartan Sport GPS Watch. It’ probably more watch than I need, but if you’re paying…
I would love a hometrainer towards my first 1/2 Ironman
A new trainer!
I would get the Suunto spartan sport. I need to upgrade my running watch and I love the way it looks!
Power meter! Power meter ! Power meter! Because I need more numbers.
The Garmin Fenix. Because there is no substitute.
A kickr headwind or climb to go with my new wahoo trainer!! :)
I’d get a Polar Vantage V to test the training load pro feature.
Definitely invest in a smart trainer – likely a Wahoo Kickr
A power meter would be nice to have so I can train more consistently.
A Garmin Fenix!
How about a direct drive smart trainer? We could really use it
Hi,
New Garmin 520+ / 820 would be nice….
Thx, Nimrod
I’ve bought into the Garmin ecosystem, so probably a Fenix for all the multisport goodness I’ve promised myself in the new year!
If it were just me, I’d probably go with the Favero Assioma pedals… but since the wife is training for triathlons, I think I’d have to discuss with her what we would get.
Would get accessories for the Garmin and the bicycle
Jerome
Might need to opt for a good bike computer (since I rely on my watch at the moment)
Probably the fenix 5+, because the fenix 3 is getting long in the tooth (and never really worked right to start with.)
I’d like a crank-based power meter.
I’d get a smart trainer of some sort, likely whichever is the best deal at the time!
I would love a KICKR CORE. Seems like a great trainer and I’ve outgrown my current setup. Thanks for arranging the giveaway!
Still haven’t got a real bike computer, something like a Garmin Edge
Santa has been quite generous this year. I’ll wait to get that $500 before I start thinking about the next gadget.
I’d love a new garmin fenix
Garmin Vector because I have to get back on the bike!
Suunto spartan, just because running is fun
I’d put it towards a smart trainer
POWER! UNLIMITED POWERRR (meter)!!
Either a pedal based power meter or garmin fenix 5s. Have a fenix 3 hr at the moment, but looks a bit too big for me.
A Fenix 5 Plus for some music while I run.
Looking for a new sports watch
I need to replace my Garmin forerunner 910xt…
If I win the gadget giveaway, I’d go with the Wahoo KICKR SNAP as it’s the one of five mid range trainers that Ray recommends. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful for my dumb trainer, but I think this would help my training for Half Iron in Augusta. Thanks, Maker fam, for all you do.
Love to pick up a new hydration pack.
I’d buy my husband a new Garmin Edge 520. We are both Garmin addicts and his current Edge needs to go to the retirement drawer
What I’d really like is a Tacx Smart bike because then I could get my wife riding too! Happy New Year Ray!
Random socks…or maybe a new garmin.
Always fancied a GoPro.
Garmin Fenix 5! Gearing up for an ironman and I need something with a little extra juice.
Probably a Polar m430
New turbo trainer
A trainer, because winter is here, and it’s not warm!
So many things to consider. Probably help fund a new powermeter
I would upgrade to a Fenix 5 Plus Ti. It would give me something that I could wear both on a run and in a suit.
I would like a smart trainer to suffer near the refrigerator
I’d pick up a fenix 5 or suunto spartan to replace my aging fenix 3
I would like to buy an aeropod to play around with my position on the TT and road bikes
