I’m sure many of you received various sports gadgets over the last few weeks as part of the holidays. But for those unlucky elves who received only a half-eaten gel packet in their Christmas stocking from their not-so-significant others, I’ve got a festivus of a present for you: This giveaway.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero7 Black to a Fitbit Versa smartwatch to a random pair of socks to the Favero Assioma power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats or even other vessels like submarines).
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Friday, December 28th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

Fenix 5 Plus because my FR735 stopped working
Now I can get my husband what he really wanted…a new KICKR trainer!
Smartest trainer I can get!
I would get a Gatmin Fenix 5 Plus. My.local.shop made a bad joke for Christmas and though I’ve paid amd advance they will not bring it till 2nd week of 2019.
A Garmin Fenix 5 plus. Thanks.
GoPro 7
I’d more than likely upgrade my running GPS to the latest Garmin. Thanks for the chance!
Garmin for sure
I really wanted a new Garmin watch… :)
A Trainer. It’s dark in Seattle/
Polar Vantage V because I need to run a lot to burn all the calories my mother is currently feeding me.
A Garmin Fenix 5 would be very nice. Clearly my letter to Santa Claus got lost in the post!
I’d lave a Garmin 935
I would like to get a good activity watch. Maybe something like the Garmin Forerunner 235 GPS Running Watch & Activity Tracker to help me monitor my progress as I try to get in better shape.
Garmin Edge 1080, so I don’t get lost
A smartwatch for my smart man
The Garmin Fenix 5X plus Bluetooth headphones. Or fancy bike lights.

Smart trainer!
A nice power meter :)
It would be a new watch.. Just because, well, its a new watch. You can never have enough watches. So it could be the Vivoactive or a Fenix 5 Plus. Both would be welcome to my collection :)
This may seem a bit unimaginative since you mentioned the Favero Assioma power meter pedals in your post but that was the gadget on the top of my list.
I would get the Garmin Fenix 5 plus for my ultra running adventures.
New gps unit
eTap TT upgrade :-)
I’d get a Fenix 5s for my girlfriend because she keeps using my spare Fenix 3 and it looks massive on her tiny wrist.
Probably a Fenix5+. Love the mapping.
i wanted a garmin fenix 5s and a pair of wireless bluetooth earphones, but i only received a non-gps casio watch and a phone charger.

I would like to try new Suntoo watch!
a new Edge 1030 please, cycling upgrade :)
I’d get a good running watch for my husband. I like my vivoactive, so maybe something similar.
Time to update my watch – a Fenix 5 for me (exact model to be determined on the off chance I actually win this).
Winter is already here so I’d love to have a trainer
Power meter bexayse i need new one.
Garmin Fenix 5 plus, what every runner needs
I’d go with a quiet smart trainer: kickr core/kickr or tacx neo. It would make fall/winter training bearable as we get a tonne of rain here and quiet enough that I can train while the kids and wife are asleep without waking them up
A Garmin Fenix to get met going in 2019!
I still did not get a power meter.
After a year on the indoor training I need a power meter to take my outdoor riding and training to the next level. As an Xert user, not having outdoor power leaves a gap in my training assessment.
New left ankle but seriously I’d love a concept 2 rower so would put it towards that.
Tacx Flux S – because I need a direct drive trainer!!
Suunto 9 or Vantage V
A Kickr Core for my significant other so that my Direto is less frequently in use and free for my rides!
new garmin running watch.
Probably a Garmin Fenix 5 watch! This is one all-rounder watch I was looking for that helps me in my training.
I would probably get a either a new watch or a new Gopro. Both are getting a bit long in the tooth but refuse to stop working.. ;)
Probably the Fenix 5 Plus. For me the best running watch that can also be used as a daily wear watch!
Great give-away, Ray!
A nice trainer to replace my commute training during the shutdown…
Probably a Garmin 645 or a Fenix 5.
Tacx Neo Trainer, because you can’t do serious training on a wheel on trainer!
A brand new Edge.
Garmin 935 for triathlon training.
Would love a F5+ for the mapping and Spotify ability
Finally a powermeter!!!
A power supply like Iron-Man, please.
Happy Christmas, Ray, and all.
Garmin Fenix
It would be great to have a Fenix 5

I’ve got no clue what santa could’ve bring me.
Tacx Neo, for replacing my current Vortex, which overheats consistently on zwift’s mountain 8 route
My old Fenix 3 1.gen needs an upgrade to one of the new garmin watches
A new power meter! One to accurately show how little amounts of power I currently produce
Hi DC,

Keep up The god work!
Great that you staying in frogland, The land bilow sealevel.
Enjoy The oliebollen!
I ask santa for a smart trainer, but most likely he didnt find one because no sports gear underneath the tree!
I use my M430 for triathlons, as I’m setting goals on some PB in 2019 maybe it’s time for a proper one…
I would go for a pair of Vector 3’s
I need a new sports watch, probably a Fenix 5 or maybe one of the Suunto Spartans…
Merry Christmas Ray,
Santa didn’t come this year.. so a fenix 5 would be fabulous
Dom
Wow, whatever I want?
My kid is starting to run four times a week, so I would love to get him Polar M430 or Forerunner 645 Music.
Itamar
GoPro Hero 7 Black for sure. A GoPro has been on my shortlist for a looong while, but I’ve never been able to justify it to myself, what with having a decent enough smartphone and all.
I would really like to get a Suunto 9 Baro to replace my Spartan Ultra.
Would love to get powertap pedals as a present
2019 is the year of doing my first open water triathlon. Running and biking have long been the staples but swimming is a whole new thing. A multi sport gps watch failed to make its way into my stocking. A garment fenix or similar will be my priority.
turbo trainer so I can do some training while the kids are in bed
And Type of power Meter to train properly ?
I would get a Tacx trainer. I’ve never had room for one but will be moving into a slightly larger apartment soon. Will finally have room to train indoors!
What I want to buy now is a GoPro Hero7 Black. Mostly for safety reasons.
Fenix 5, time for an upgrade.
I would like a new Polar Vantage to replace my old running watch.
