I’m sure many of you received various sports gadgets over the last few weeks as part of the holidays. But for those unlucky elves who received only a half-eaten gel packet in their Christmas stocking from their not-so-significant others, I’ve got a festivus of a present for you: This giveaway.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero7 Black to a Fitbit Versa smartwatch to a random pair of socks to the Favero Assioma power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats or even other vessels like submarines).
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Friday, December 28th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

Spider based power meter to go with my new racebike for next season
Didn’t get a smart trainer…guess I was on the naughty list
I spent my “me money” on my family this year so that my wife has a new Garmin and my son has a new bike. I would love a Fenix 5 Plus Sapphire.
I would like a new Garmin 645
Fenix 5(X) plus or 520 plus.
A new watch to help me train for my next 1/2 marathon.
A FR935 to restart my fitness goals. Thank you!
I’d get a Fenix 5 to replace my brilliant but ageing Forerunner 235.
I was hoping for some Garmin Vector pedals so I can kick up the power in the new year!
i was hoping for a fenix 5s
I wanted a garmin edge 1030!!!! no such luck, so hopefully I win!!!!
Garmin Fenix Plus, Santa said I wasn’t high enough on the nice list for an upgrade.
I need music! Garmin FR 645 fo sho!
It would be nice to win a Garmin 935. Good luck for all of you folks :-)
I’d get a new fitness watch and a wifi-connected scale because I have an old watch and a regular scale
I’d get me a pair of assioma pedals. Always wanted to get a powermeter, but the current prices are simply too high.
Garmin Fenix 5 cause I’m still using my 310xt
Not sure what product I’d get, but it will obviously be better than what I had for Christmas (a broom … No, seriously. A broom)
Garmin Edge bike computer.
I’d probably get a Garmin Fenix… something.
I’d get a direct drive trainer for my wife. Most likely a Tacx Flux s. Thanks!
I’d get the Assioma power meter. I want to start training with power, but I plan on upgrading my bike in the next few years and need something that would not limit what I purchase.
I would get a power meter for my bike. I don’t know which one but it would be awesome to be able to win to research which one.
Fenix 5 plus or wahoo kickr 2018 would be nice!
A set of Garmin Vector pedals would work nicely for me.
Garmin Edge for next years Munga race, Fenix tracking was not optimal. ?
something smaller than mine fr935 but with similar set of functions (maybe 5s?) for my wife…
Would love to get the new Vantage V
I’d use it towards a new smart trainer like the kickr core
I would get a powermeter for my MTB because I love riding my road bike a lot, for which I just got a 4iiii in a closeout sale, but I do as well love to ride off-road but can’t afford another powermeter for that bike too
I would really like to have a Garmin Fenix 5, because my Vivoactive HR is starting look like outdated
I’d have to go for a Farmin Fenix 5X Plus. Having had the Fenix 3 since it first came out it is now showing its age having had what I would class as a hard life (running, cycling, diving, hill walking, OCR, swimming, cross fit to name but a few of the things it’s been punished by) it is now showing its age. It’s a bit bruised and battered and occasionally the software is a bit temperamental but it has been a stalwart device but looks like it could be time for a change….
I’d go for a GoPro Hero 7 black as my Hero 3 white really isn’t cutting it anymore!
I’ve always wanted a Garmin Fenix. I mean, what can’t it do? :)
I’d love a wahoo bolt so my wife won’t have to track her rides with a smartphone.
I’d love Favero assioma power meter.
Ho Ho Ho, Power meter for me!
Fancy 935xt

Garmin 935 wrist rockin get your bounty moving watch!
Kickr climb. Forced to train inside for 7 months
A Fénix 5. My F3 has been great, but newer is always better!
Difficult to say. Most likely a fenix5
I would want a pair of Favero Assioma pedals, because I am sure I have a lot of power in my legs, but If you can measure it you can’ know it…
I didn’t get any gadgets for Christmas.
New watch. My 910xt is getting old
Been shopping for a 360 action camera. That would be a great Christmas present.
A new watch, probably one in the Fenix 5/5+ series. I haven’t decided which one yet, since I don’t need the music and payment options of plus, but pulseOx looks nice and better battery is better since I’m forgetful to charge stuff.
I’m already looking at a new watch to replace my RCX5 because:
1. It is getting more unreliable in the GPS tracking
2. Polar is shutting PPT by the end of next year and it doesnt sound like they will support direct integration with flow. Also means I wont get correct gpx files since the time is off in the export with websync.
3. There is no automatic Strava integration which is annoying. Seriously, why cant you transfer data directly (manually or automatically) from PPT to Flow and Strava…
I’d get a chainring or crank arm power meter so I can use speedplay on my new roadie
I would love to get a Power Meter or a Wahoo Bolt to get me motivated to start training again.
Fenix 5 would fit me
Something to go with the neo bike. Maybe a bike computer?
I would like to update my watch to a Garmin Forerunner 935. Or maybe something else, like Favero Assioma.
fenix 5 plus, finally given up on fitbit ionic which never synced, But can’t ask the wife for permission for another tech purchase :(
Garmin Fenix. Mine is slowly dying
Anything goes
For me.. Fenix 5s plus,
Fenix 5 plus, because my old Polar M400 is nearing its end.
Garmin 735 for the win baby!
FENIX 5 PLUS with music – definitely
Fenix 5 simply because it’s the most advanced, best looking watch they have out there. Can wear it when working out and with dress clothes.
I wanted a GoPro Hero7 but any model would do. Roads are getting more dangerous to ride on! Bought my wife the Garmin Fenix 5S plus but she didn’t reciprocate :(
Gamin Fenix 5, HR. I want to get ride of the chest strap
New head unit, either BOLT or Garmin 520
Garmin Fr935. My fr230 is getting old. Thanks Ray!
Fenix 5s, my old Fenix 2 is pretty much dead now
Nice, definietly a power meter, probably Favero Assioma.
because i don’t have one yet.
Would love a Wahoo Kickr or similar smart trainer
New bike so need a new Power Meter
Maybe a new power meter to give me an excuse to buy a new bike!
I would likely get a Fenix 5!
I would get a power meter. most likely I would pony up the difference and get vector3 peddles.
Cheers
I would like to buy go pro and pair of socks :)
I’d get a Garmin 1030 because my 820 has a lot of battery issues when its cold outside. Today I got from 100% to 0% in only 3 hours (90km ride)
Power meter please!
Left my Garmin 920XT on the plane. Garmin Edge 800 bit the dust. …I got socks and underwear for Xmas. I need a tracker for my Swim/Bike/Run workouts! :)
Since I am new to road cycling, I am looking at the Wahoo Bolt computer. Still dialing in all the necessary equipment.
Hmmm, maybe an upgrade on my single sided vector to a dual sided set.
Garmin 935 for my first Ironman this fall!!
Polar Vantage M. I’d like to have light unit for training and competitions
I’d get a Fenix for hiking.
Garmin Vector 3 for a new bike!
A new garmin edga as my old 500 are on its last legs.
A garmin 1030, as my Hammerhead Karoo still lacks many of the features i want and/or need.
A power meter perhaps.
A Garmin 935 would be a mighty nice replacement for my 920xt
A power meter because I have some pretty significant knee issues that are keeping me from running so 2019 will be the year of the bike!
Favero Assioma power meter to see how my training is progressing
power meter
Garmin running watch with training load. I need to make sure I don’t over-train and get injured!
Maybe another new watch
A new Fenix 5 (not sure exactly which model) to teplace my ailing Forerunner 935.
I would get a fly6 camera because I don’t want to get smashed by a truck in my next ride
Garmin Fenix 5 Plus Black on Black
I really want Stryd or RunScribe pods, but I don’t think CT carries them. Do regular foot pods improve pacing accuracy?
Dear Santa, a garmin 1030. Please.
A new Garmin running watch would be ideal.
How did you know about that half-eaten gel packet in my stocking! I really, really, really want a new triathlon watch. Fenix would be nice :-).
GoPro Fusion 3D is a must for me and my fiancee to keep memories of our adventures
Garmin Computer
