Today is Friday – you made it to the end of the week. But more importantly, today is also Australia Day. I only know that because I’m in Australia, and the beaches are more crowded than the starting line of a marathon (still, I pretended to workout and went for a short swim). Thus, it seems reason enough to give away some gadget goodness. But fear not, I won’t be restricting this to those in Australia, or any other country. Anyone, anywhere on earth, is welcome to join as always.
Somehow it’s been far too long since we’ve last done a giveaway. I seriously don’t know how, because I talk about it almost every month with the Clever Training crew, and then somehow it slips off my radar. Perhaps we just need more holidays to have faux reasons for me to give stuff away.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on almost anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero6 Black, to a Suunto Spartan Ultra, to a random pair of socks, to the Garmin Vector 3 power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats). Also note, your credit is in US dollars, not Australian – otherwise you’d get less. Nobody wants less.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (I.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, January 29th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

I would like the Garmin vector power meter to measure performance as I look towards a first race season!
I would get the Garmin 935 tri bundle. My FR 310XT takes too long time to find satellites and the syncing is horrible. I would also like a watch that can be used while not training.

Well you can never really have enough socks!
An Elite Director trainer please
A new power meter… Maybe powertap chain ring. Maybe a 4iiii… Hard to choose.

I think a 500$ credit would convince me to get a power meter. Or a new running watch. Or head unit… Don’t know yet. I hope I will have to make the decision..

Something cycling related for sure, just not sure what
I would love to get a tacx smart trainer!

I get a trainer or the Vector 3. Thanks
I’m looking forward to the new scosche HR monitor.
Towards fat wheels and tyres to soak up the cobbles of the Roubaix!
Ant hear rate monitor and Garmin bike attachment to connect with Fénix 5.

Lezyne Super GPS Cycling Computer and handlebar mount

FR935 – so damn svelte!
A new cycling computer because I gave my hubby a new one for Xmas and now I want to steal it for myself.
I would go for a Garmin Fenix watch. Thanks
I’d be happy to get the feather light Garmin Forerunner 935 and use the navigation with new routes around the world, while managing the effort properly, checking all the geeky stats!
Oh man, the choices!! I’d love a power meter for my road bike, but would probably spice up my daughter’s bike so she’ll ride with me more often!!
Garmin’s Vivomove HR, new version. It’s simple enough for daily use, and have certain fitness and wellness feature for indoor exercise (although fitness function is not very visible in the sunshine ; )
Really want to get gopro hero 6 to record activity with my son or get replacement for my Fenix 3 HR

Forerunner 645 because it’s exactly as much as I need
I would get the new Fenix
New trainer to get through the long Alaska winter.
The Karoo if it ever sees real light of day….
I will get a Garmin Fenix 5 because I need a reliable GPS device for my Tri training.

I’d go for a refresh on my GoPro Hero to get some better footage while capturing my sports adventures
Probably an edge unit to compliment my 935
The new Scosche Rhythm and one of the GoPros.
$500 Gadget Giveaway: I would like to get the Scosche Rhythm 24 Optical HR Monitor, as using the Garmin Swim HR strap with my Forerunner 735XT is pretty annoying, but the information is useful and helped me improve my swimming.
