Today is Friday – you made it to the end of the week. But more importantly, today is also Australia Day. I only know that because I’m in Australia, and the beaches are more crowded than the starting line of a marathon (still, I pretended to workout and went for a short swim). Thus, it seems reason enough to give away some gadget goodness. But fear not, I won’t be restricting this to those in Australia, or any other country. Anyone, anywhere on earth, is welcome to join as always.
Somehow it’s been far too long since we’ve last done a giveaway. I seriously don’t know how, because I talk about it almost every month with the Clever Training crew, and then somehow it slips off my radar. Perhaps we just need more holidays to have faux reasons for me to give stuff away.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on almost anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero6 Black, to a Suunto Spartan Ultra, to a random pair of socks, to the Garmin Vector 3 power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats). Also note, your credit is in US dollars, not Australian – otherwise you’d get less. Nobody wants less.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (I.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, January 29th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

Garmin Varia Vision, because I would not like to check my watch anymore
I have been wanting the garmin bike radar. Just something to remind you that there is traffic there when you get complacent after not seeing any cars for a while.
The new Garmin watch that does music and hrm on the wrist. To replace my aging 620!
First power meter.
Vector 3 because I’m doing an Haute Route this year and don’t have a power meter yet.
I’d get a 935 Tri bundle and a running pod so I don’t have to keep abusing my all purpose 220; no a Stages power meter = more power (it gives you power right)?
No wait a Tacx neo to hide away on the bike in winter…
Garmin vector pedals is on my wanted list
Garmin Vector 3 for my new bike that should be arriving next week.
I hope to get new pair of leggs and lungs to finally get better :-). Or at least new running watch that has better satelite reception than my current fenix 3.
definitely the new rhythm sensor and possibly a swim watch…
A pair of Garmin vector3 would be what I might get. Or something else.
Gopro 6 ! Always looking for it
Reckon I’d go for Vector 3 pedals, or maybe a Power2Max. Or a Fenix 5. Decisions, decisions!!
Tough choice! Probably update my fenix 3 to a forerunner 935.
I’d take the vectors because why not
A Garmin Edge 1030 to get some proper navigation on brevets and bike packing adventures!
Hmm. I’d say Vector 3s, but I can’t afford to cover the difference just now, so maybe a smart trainer and/or a bike computer (520 or Bolt)
I would like a Wahoo element to go chase those numbers on the bike!
Pretty sure I’d go for the Fenix5
I do my first 70.3 Ironman in May and the Garmin Vector 3 pedals would be the biggest boost of helpful data to my training program.
Garmin Vector 3 Power Meter because I want to improve my fitness by training with a power meter.
I’d surely get myself a Garmin Edge 1030 because it would suit my bike and me perfectly… ?
I would buy a garmin vector 3 so I can track my training progress.
Definitely need Vector 3 pedals!
I really like Garmin’s stuff so would love to upgrade to a FR935 from my 735XT for my triathlon training.
Garmin Vector 3S
I would love to try running with music (Garmin 645). Maybe I will like it.
GoPro Hero 6 to film all my 2018 advenchers.
I’d probably go for a wahoo elemnt bolt as my old Garmin 310xt needs an upgrade and I’d really like to start using Strava live segments. The Bolt seems like a great simple analogue button computer just like the 310xt was, only newer and better with more features. I don’t need a color touch screen to look at while cycling…
I would love to upgrade to a Garmin 935. To dive in to running power measurement without then need of added sensors would be nice.
At the continuos speed of saving 1e per day to buy a powermeter i am not check my performance any time soon. I need the assiomaaa!!!
I would love to update my Fenix3 to a Fenix5
A powermeter to improve my cycling!
Would like to get GoPro Hero6 Black, a really awesome option!
A Fenix5x will be the choise. :)
I don’t need a fenix 5 but I want one. My fenix 3 hr just starts to feel a bit old but it’s actually great. Disappointed that there was no fenix 6 announced at ces.
I’ve got a friend who has only recently gotten back into running and is not now preparing for his first half marathon. GPS on his phone is awful and we’ve been discussing running watches. He would like something nice looking to wear all day vs just a practical entry level model and, since he is still at Uni, is now saving up for a watch (probably a garmin 645, but with added budget might turn into a Fenix?). I’d spend the voucher on him.
Definitely the latest GoPro because I managed to flood mine whilst scuba diving in the North Sea (England) – I wouldn’t care but I wasn’t even filming on that particular Dive so could have left it behind!
It World be Great to get a. New bike computer. My old 810 is starting to act up quite a bit.
Happy australia day! One can never have too many gadgets. (Despite what the wife might say ^^)
Got to hurry, trailrun coming up!
I‘d Love the Garmin. , Cause me and My Kids Love to Be out in the Mountains, and this Would be our perfect Partner!!! Suunto would also be Great!!! Have a Great Time DownUnder ??
A new GPS Watch as my V800 is broken.

I’d love to start filming video with the GoPro Hero6!
I would get a GoPro Hero camera – for all of our outdoor sporty action stuff and I know our kids would love it as well…
I would like a multisport watch, which is probly going to be hogged by my wife.
I’d go the GoPro Hero 6 black to film the my family’s outdoor adventures!
I would be looking at the options for power meters!
My life is not much without a GoPro Hero6 black. Just kidding, but would love to have one?
Hi Ray,
The Vector 3 powermeter would be a great help towards training for my first long distance event.
A couple years back you guided me towards my first sports watch (910XT – which is still working amazingly well).
Wanna help me reach the next level?
Tacx Neo, it’s time to upgrade my old trainer and get some more functionality. Thank you!
Don’t know if I’m late (not so good with timezomes) but a new GoPro is always welcome ;)
Spartan for me please
I will get the GoPro Hero6 Black because i love mountain biking and hikiking and this is a nice thing to have when you go up the mountain.
I would be a great start towards a Vector 3 power meter to help me reach my training goals before for my first IM 70.3
Smaller items to plug holes in my setup such as paddles, bike computer mounts. I think you get the idea.
Garmin Fenix 5! Need an upgrade to my aging GPS watch.
G’day Mate! If I win I would defenitley invest in a brand new GoPro camera.
The Garmin 5X or GoPro to go out and run the trails.
My Fenix 3 is getting tired… time for an upgrade!
The suunto spartan trainer hr wrist because thats one of the best watches but its still to expensive for me
Time to get a new Garmin. Early investor in a Karoo unit but gave up after your expose.
To find my cycling Mojo back with a Wahoo Element bolt
Got to be a power meter, as I love toys :) although a new bike computer with turn-by-turn navigation would probably be more useful…
I’d like a new triathlon watch to record my efforts in the 2018 season.
I’d buy garmin hrm-tri.
I would buy a present for my Pain Cave… a Elite Direto
Power meter, training at the next level.
The nee Vector 3- to get reliable data….
Thanks in advance
I would like to have new gps watch, because want to run half-Marathon in Lisbon this year in March
power pedals whould be nice :)
The gopro fusion, shots looks awesome!
A GoPro. Taking my daughter to learn to ski and it’d be great to go some action shots.
I’d use it towards getting a power meter, been promising myself one for a while but life always gets in the way. But as I’m training for my first Ironman so now the time to make the jump.
Garmin 520. A car just ran over my 500 (dislodged crossing railroad tracks) and its poor windscreen got smashed. Internals still work though
I’d get the stages bike computer. I had Garmin, Wahoo and Pioneer and I’d like to try the stages.
New GPS watch, because Im going to run lisbon half marathon in march this year :)
Forerunner 935XT, to replace my thing 410 and help bring my training to the next level.
I would get a new garmin 1030
I would get the Garmin 935 as an upgrade to my 920 XT or a Suunto.
Thank for this Giveaway.
Something that tracks sleep because our next baby is due this weekend. So vivoactice 3
I’d for a smart trainer like a kickr had nothing but grief from 3 flux units so have been left without a trainer for a long while now.
A bike rack, to fit my new vehicle!
fenix 5
Definitely a Suunto Spartan. My Ambit 2S is beginning to show its age.
Gopro hero6 black please. To capture my adventures. Thanks’
I’d get a crankarm-powermeter to finaly take training to another level and drop my Brother on the climbs!
The Garmin Vector 3’s versatility sounds like just the job as one solution to all my bike PM needs!
That’d probably be a new power meter for my new bike. Or at least part of the power meter if I can’t get the whole one :).
I’d get a Garmin Vector 3 Power meter. It would really improve my ability to monitor my performance during my turbo classes with my Triathlon club.
Think I’ll get a trainer. Having approx 6 months of winter per year keeps me inside a lot of time.
I’d like to get a New interactive trainer because I’m still training on an old one….
Going for a gopro or new cycling computer.
If I’m lucky for once…
Deffo a trainer, cause winter sucks for riding
Uf, suunto or hero GoPro. That would be nice.
I would get a bike computer compatible with ant; probably a version from garmin
That GoPro 6 will be very useful on my trip to Iceland! Love your reviews!
I would like a multisport watch, which would track the rest of my day beside my cycling!
I would get the GoPro Hero6, because me and my 3 kids would use it to record so many of our joint sports endeavors, but also family moments :)
GoPro Hero Black because hands free photography is where it’s at!
