Have some fun in the travel section.
I travel a fair bit, both for work and for fun. Here’s a bunch of random trip reports and daily trip-logs that I’ve put together and posted. I’ve sorted it all by world geography, in an attempt to make it easy to figure out where I’ve been.
My Photography Gear: The Cameras/Drones/Action Cams I Use Daily
The most common question I receive outside of the “what’s the best GPS watch for me” variant, are photography-esq based. So in efforts to combat the amount of emails I need to sort through on a daily basis, I’ve complied this “My Photography Gear” post for your curious minds (including drones & action cams!)! It’s a nice break from the day-to-day sports-tech talk, and I hope you get something out of it!

Tough call, but probably a new Garmin computer, mine is almost 10 years old now!
Would love to get myself a smart trainer! But I’m greatful for anything. Thanks for awesome work on the reviews over the years.
I’d get a Garmin Fenix 5. Having turned 40 just a few weeks ago and having lost two and a half stone through getting into running, cycling and triathlons. I’d use it to help me do the bigger distances! ???
Scosche’s Rhythm 24 and a 935xt… or a partial payment toward a smart trainer. Decisions, decisions.
I’d love a forerunner 935! I need the longest battery gps tri watch with a color screen and running power!

Garmin 520 because more bike toys are always a good choice!
I’d like a quarq DZero, that would be great.
I would use it toward an Elite Direto trainer. That is because I live north of Chicago and indoor training is necessary for so many weeks of the year. I would chose this trainer based on the reviews I have read here, subject to change after reading more reviews.
I have been looking at and wanting to get a wahoo kickr for a while, but just haven’t been able to pull the trigger. I would definitely go towards the kickr… So I’d have something record on my goPro!

I’d put it towards a pair of Garmin Vector 3s. Been looking at a power meter for outside training for a while and they seem to be the best choice.
I’d get a pair of Scosche Rhythm heart rate monitors. One for me and one for the wife. how fun is that! His and Hers HRM!
Probably a GoPro to record how slow I am on the bike.
A GoPro HERO 6 Black would be nice. Thanks, Ray!
I would get the Garmin Vector 3 power meter. I have been waiting to start training with power and from your review those seems to be the way to go.
I’d flip a coin between a smart trainer or Garmin Vector pedals – either way I’d ride more or better!
Newton shoes & a Power meter- foot pod!
A trainer i would think!
I’d go for a GoPro. I love the idea of recording my adventures but a camera always seems to come after the need for bike parts which I never seem to run out of…
If I won the giveaway, I would use the money to buy a bike computer, most likely the Wahoo Elmnt Bolt, after reading the comparison review that you provided vs. the Garmin!
Garmin Vector 3 power meter, time for duel side power
I’d definitely go for a fenix 5s because who doesn’t love a healthy competition with your spouse for tracked steps, miles logged and best resting heart rate!
GoPro hero 6 for training/race footage. Time to get rid of the old Sony.
Garmin Felix watch or Vector pedals
Barely made it!

Need. More. Power! Garmin Vector 3’s.
I’ve been eyeing the spark drone from DJI
Powertap single side power meter
I’d buy a Watteam POWERBEAT Dual as I’ve been trying to retrain my legs to cycle properly after a few years of constant minor injuries and learning and then training each leg to put equal amounts of power rather than favoring one leg more than the other. And … wasn’t the Tour Down Under awesome, Daryl Impey springing that plan on everyone else, plus I got to actually see Peter Sagan live for the first time :)

Powertap pedals, because then I can race with power data at my fingertips.
I’d go for the FR645 Music, so I can test it and write my own DCR style review.
GoPro hero 6 cause I need an upgrade for my hero 3+.
Definitely the Vector. Every year I tell myself, “Self, this is the year you upgrade your game and start training with power.” Inevitably that voice gets drowned out by the other voice that says that my girls’ soccer and swimming teams need to take priority. So
Candy. Do they sell candy?

Definitely the Vector 3 for me! Power has been on the want-to-have list for a while and with the changes from 2 to 3 the Garmin is my choice.
I would get my wife the new vivoactive. she needs an upgrade from the forerunner 220.
That Garmin Vector 3 Power Meter sure sounds nice. It would integrate with my Garmin 935, but I can’t justify buying is. Winning requires no justification.
