Today is Friday – you made it to the end of the week. But more importantly, today is also Australia Day. I only know that because I’m in Australia, and the beaches are more crowded than the starting line of a marathon (still, I pretended to workout and went for a short swim). Thus, it seems reason enough to give away some gadget goodness. But fear not, I won’t be restricting this to those in Australia, or any other country. Anyone, anywhere on earth, is welcome to join as always.
Somehow it’s been far too long since we’ve last done a giveaway. I seriously don’t know how, because I talk about it almost every month with the Clever Training crew, and then somehow it slips off my radar. Perhaps we just need more holidays to have faux reasons for me to give stuff away.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on almost anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero6 Black, to a Suunto Spartan Ultra, to a random pair of socks, to the Garmin Vector 3 power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats). Also note, your credit is in US dollars, not Australian – otherwise you’d get less. Nobody wants less.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (I.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, January 29th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

Hola, mi ilusión garmin 935
Mi ilusión garmin fenix 5s
Hi Ray, I’d love to win the Garmin Vector power meter pedals. I’m in Brisbane and have used a HRM for most of my cycling in the past, but have always wanted to get accurate power readings. Have fun in Oz!
A new head unit for my bike – maybe the Wahoo or maybe the Garmin…..
I guess it will be a smart trainer
Hi Ray, last august I decided to have cycling as my main sport. I bought a new Giant bike and a Tacx Neo. I can’t wait to go outside with the bike for the first time. It would be great to have the Garmin Edge 1030 with me for navigation and useful stats to make rides more enjoyable. I ordered a Karoo in august but got pushed to cancel that order eventually in january. Now I’m waiting for a price drop on the Garmin Edge 1030. It would be great if I could be a winner and have the Garmin Edge 1030 on the handlebar on my first Tour of Arnhem, The Netherlands ride on the 8th of april. I’ll be happy to send you a picture of a wall filled with start numbers like yourself in the future!
Kind regards, Floris K
I would get the GoPro Hero6 and the Ameo Power Breather- so yeah send that my way
