Today is Friday – you made it to the end of the week. But more importantly, today is also Australia Day. I only know that because I’m in Australia, and the beaches are more crowded than the starting line of a marathon (still, I pretended to workout and went for a short swim). Thus, it seems reason enough to give away some gadget goodness. But fear not, I won’t be restricting this to those in Australia, or any other country. Anyone, anywhere on earth, is welcome to join as always.
Somehow it’s been far too long since we’ve last done a giveaway. I seriously don’t know how, because I talk about it almost every month with the Clever Training crew, and then somehow it slips off my radar. Perhaps we just need more holidays to have faux reasons for me to give stuff away.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on almost anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero6 Black, to a Suunto Spartan Ultra, to a random pair of socks, to the Garmin Vector 3 power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats). Also note, your credit is in US dollars, not Australian – otherwise you’d get less. Nobody wants less.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (I.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, January 29th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

Your review and recommendation of the Elite Direto Trainer back in October has certainly put this at the top of my wish list. $500 toward an Elite Direto would be money well spent.
A Garmin 645 Music:)My Fitbit has broken and I need a new watch to pair with my phone and I can’t be doing with an Apple Watch!
Garmin Fenix 5x … because it just looks so very nice…
I think I would get a new trainer. Road biking gets a little tough in the winter, so this would be a nice addition.
I think I’d get a nice Fenix 5. I’ve got the 3, but I’m guessing support isn’t going to be around forever for it! Happy weekend. Thanks for the giveaway!
After the 4 month no show of my Vector 3’s and having subsequently now spent that refund on a TACX Neo :) My winnings would 100% go towards a power meter (probs quarq cos CT stock them)
Good Luck All
I’get a fenix 5s. perfect for my month long trip ahead.

I would like to get a 4iii power meter. I think it would improve my training significantly.
Count me in for some serious Garmin Fenix splurging!
I would get the garmin vector 3 pedals becsuee I want a power meter that I can easily move between my bikes, so it seems like the obvious solution. I can’t wait to see my power measurements from my hybrid bike when I’ve got one kid in a baby seat and two in the trailer behind (just an extra 100lbs or so NBD).
Vector would be fantastic as training on the trainer makes you curious to see what it looks like on the road.
Perhaps the new Garmin Forerunner 645. The battery on my Garmin doesn’t last quite so long any more, so a new one would be nice
Likely a few products – a bike computer or maybe something new in the garmin line with optical hr, and then an activity tracker for family.
Split between a Fenix 5, a power meter, or a turbo/roller.
I would love to get the credit for Clever Training, to buy a Garmin Edge 1030 Cycling Computer! It would very much help me in my training for my next short-term goals (Tour of Flanders and Cannibale Ventoux race), and would get me one step closer towards my long-term objective of full TRI.
Thank you for the giveaway!
I would love a GoPro Hero6 Black! I have everything I need in terms of sports watches but my only camera is my smartphone which I don’t dare using during sports.
Would love the new Garmin FR645 – good old M400 is starting to show its age
I would probably go for the garmin 935 because it would be a nice upgrade from my fenix 3 hr!
Honestly, I’d get that new Garmin diving watch. Mk1 Descent or something. Because I have gotten really into diving recently, but can’t afford that.
Garmin Vector 3 pedals would look good on my bike :)
I want to get a GoPro Hero6 Black for when I go mountain biking and skiing.
500$ worth of socks!
I’ll put that credit towards the new KICKR trainer to step up my indoor cycling game, as well as save on tires!
Fenix 5S!
Fenix 5s. Keep up the good work
I’d go for the garmin 935XT, my 920 is getting old and needs an upgrade
Garmin Vivoactive 3 – maybe it will not have BT and ANT connectivity problems as F5
I would get a Fenix 5 or the Garmin F645 and maybe a Scosche Rhythm 24 to go with it!
it would be Hero 6 Black: going to a cycling training camp and would be awesome to record the actions :)
Wouldn’t mind getting a direct drive trainer :-)
A GoPro Hero 6 Black to document all my amazing outings!
Vector 3 for me :)
Interesting. I’m used to run and swim, but now I’m trying to get into triathlon, so I need to get the equipments and train the cycling part, and apparently a power meter is a must, like the Garmin Vector 3.
Hi Ray,
I would really like to upgrade my original suunto ambit with garmin 935.
Thanks!
Wahoo Bolt or Go Pro
GoPro Hero 6, to help finally get the blog online!
A power meter or a smart trainer or a watch I can’t decide
Tacx Vortex trainer – I need it to start getting back on the bike and put on some miles.
I would get a Garmin 935 watch.
Garmin 1030 Edge for Dirty Kanza
I’d probably go for the GoPro since my Hero3+ is just about dead!
I would buy a new running watch like the fenix 5s!
A new powermeter to help with the duathlon training
Fenix 5 for me!
GoPro Hero6 Black would be nice to replace my GoPro 1… just becouse its too old ;)
I’ve always wanted a power meter but just never could pull the trigger on one.
The new 645M. … motivation to get back in the gym… been far too long!
Maybe new Suunto watch or GoPro camera…
I would be sooo happy with a fenix 5 and my old 230er would be the new one for my girl :)
nice products!
Fenix 5 (finally… :-) )
I’d get an Elite Direto trainer for the especially rainy Seattle days. Or maybe the Cycliq light/camera combos… would be a tough decision! Cheers, DCR!
Fenix5 cause the old 235 doesn’t do power.
I’m pretty sure I’d get a pedal-based power meter, though I’m not 100% certain which one yet. Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d probably go with the Garmin Forerunner 935. I just got a new bike computer for Christmas, and the Forerunner 310XT could use an upgrade.

A GoPro would be nice to document my next backcountry skiing adventure.
A Fenix 5 … because it’s cool
Garmin 935 or Wahoo Elemnt Bolt for new season !

Vector 3 all day. Thanks for these giveaways, Ray!
The GoPro Hero6. So I show what a slow open water swimmer I am…
I really need a sram etap aero upgrade to make my bike UCI compliant!
Yeah! Already waiting to buy the Scosche Rhythm 24 to replace my Mio Link.
Probably put it towards a set of Vector 3s.
I can’t make a choice, I’ll check this after I’ve won ;-)
I’ve been itching to get a power meter for a long time, I’d go with the garmin vector 3, since it works just like a normal pedal, nothing to snap or break off!
Garmin Vector Pedals would be fine :)
Id put that towards a shiny new Stages Power Meter.
The spartan ultra, so I can stop getting lost in the mountains.
Welcome back to Oz Ray!
Wahoo climb would be sweet
Great giveaway. I think I may go for a Garmin running watch most likely 935. Unless it becomes a gift for hubby, then it is going to be a Fenix (he is a great fan of the Fenix line).
Favero assioma powermeter
A Tacx Flux. Because the one I’m using makes to much noise. And I want to increase my trainingsinrensity and not the comments from my family :-)
I need to buy a Tucx Flux :)
Thanks a lot Ray. I need that Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, I am getting old and I almost don’t see the numbers in my Polar M400.
I’d love a smart trainer as it’s hard to ride in wet season!
Probably a tri watch
Well, I do suppose I’ll have to re-read your articles on the different power training options to figure out what would be best for me, but without a doubt, some form of power meter for the bike.
Garmin Fenix would be sweeeeet. Would get for my boyfriend since he’s the more intense one of us. In hope that then he’ll give me the hand me down watch he currently has :)
I would take a crank based powermeter. I am using Ultegra 6800 cranks, so the 4iiii Precision Power Meter would be perfect.
garmin 1030 all the way
