I have planned two runs and one bike ride, but a I got sunstroke Sat evening, I had to spend whole Sun in bed with heavy fever.
I ran my first trail race on Sunday and it was awesome. I definitely plan on more. This next weekend my fiance and I will head back up to that trail because she wants to run it herself to see how it was since she did not want to join the race with me.

Bit late for the weekend now but I did a road ride Sat and MTB’d on Sunday. Very wet Saturday and my Stages didn’t like it!
This weekend I’ll do a 20km long run on hilly slopes next to the sea.

Leiden (The Netherlands) marathon 2017
Hey Ray,
I will be running with my son and his Cross Country team on a 3.4 mile “Torch Run” honoring the Olympian Jim Thorpe in our town by the same name.
Rifle and pistol qualification ranges – I’m an Army Reserve First Sergeant. Moving range to range, moving within the ranges, et cetera, typically nets 13,000-17,000 steps (according to my Fenix).
I’ll try and log my first 100mile ride in under 6 hours…
Long run Saturday followed by all day BBQ sunday.

This weekend’s activity consisted of a short run on saturday, physio on an ailing knee sunday, and hot yoga on a holiday monday.

I am going to start running after my knee surgery again – hopefully. It still hurts during occasional sprints to one of the children.

I’ll be busy trying to keep up with my triathlon-addicted wife as she prepares for her first full iron distance triathlon in July 2018. Not bad for a “I’ll never be a runner / swimmer / cyclist” to what she has achieved so far, and looks towards in the coming year.
She’s truly inspirational and I look forward to seeing her continue to develop and improve!-

Last weekend I attended a wedding and spent a wobbling 8 hours eating. That counts as an athletic adventure, doesn’t it? Anyway, the morning before the wedding my gf and I went for a 60km ride around the lake next to the wedding place, while on Sunday we did some mountains and checked out the Giro d’Italia at Selvino.

This past weekend was pretty much all travel. I’m doing a sprint triathlon in Crystal River, Florida next weekend (Memorial Day weekend in the US).

I got to run my first full mile after spending 5 weeks in a boot with a partial Achilles tear. It was amazing!

A short run along the atlantic ocean on saturday morning, Stand up paddle in the afternoon and a new session of Stand up paddle on sunday morning.
Working on a boat, and a 1.4-hour long training run. Zone 1 base runs are annoyingly slow, but the weather was great.
Next weekend is open water swim time!

I spent between 10 and 12 PM on Saturday testing the recovery of my recently sprained calf muscle by hiking/running two laps up and down the local 600 m mountain, for a total of just over 13K distance. It was a beautiful night, and as I live above the 64th parallel, it was still bright at that late hour.
Sunday was spent nursing my sore muscles and practising my non-existent inline skating talents. Having received a pair as a present from my daughters for my 48th birthday, I feel that I need to learn.
