Ran my first full marathon, added on an extra couple of miles for fun (read cool down) in preparation for my first ultra marathon in two weeks.

I did the Neckarsulm Triathlon with my league team! Didn’t perform as good as I hoped, but we made place 7 out of 17 so it’s all good!

This is a long weekend here in Norway, so I’ll go on a two day trail running trip to somewhere around where I live as a final big trip before an ultra in June. And the plan is to (somehow) link this up for a whisky and bonfire evening with some friends in the same mountain area as the running. So, the plan is trail running, whiskey and bonfire. :-)
Not much… A new Springer spaniel puppy means staying close to home… Maybe a few sneaky runs while she sleeps…

For the first time I did a cross run with stroller… Son did fall asleep, couldn´t be as bad for him…
Good 180km bike ride for the first time on Saturday…. And Sunday riding with my wife 120km hilly ride and then got my bike chain broken when attacking one bug climb behind my wife and our car driving behind her :(…. Just to then wait 2h in the road until she realized I never caught up :( (never riding without phone or money again)
7 mile run on Saturday and then continuing my new found obsession with Olympic lifting on Sunday.

We’re going on a trip with the kids and are camping at a lake. I hope to take af few laps around it (about 3 miles cirucumference).

Sick and insomniac kids put an end to my plans for a decent ride this weekend. I did get to mow the lawn though, before squeezing in a Sunday night turbo session. In fact, family disruptions stopped 1 track session, and open water swim, and two possible pool sessions this week, on top of the weekend ride cancellation, so clearly a win here is just what I need ;)

It will be a Cannondale bikes testing day for me and my wife on great new singletrails. Going to test Scalpel and Habit, our sun will join us on his Cannondale Street 24 (great looking bike imho). It would be lot of fun, full head of thoughts and lond day :)
