It’s March already. Which means that for many in the Northern Hemisphere you’re likely starting to increase the mileage and times of your workouts in preparation for the spring and summer ahead. As such, there’s likely no better time to up your training game with some new gadgets. Thus, I’m here to give you the power. Or rather, my partner in giveaway crime Clever Training is. I’m just like the guy calling you to tell you that you won the sweepstakes.
In any case….
As of a few weeks ago, Clever Training now stocks Stages power meters. So they’ll be giving the winner a free Stages power meter of their choice. As for the crank flavor: Carbon, aluminum, cookie-dough..whatever floats your boat…it’s yours. Hell – I’ll even say that you can pick up the entire crankset if you want. Hopefully, the CT folks won’t mind, because I’m writing this late and had a few too many glasses of wine to bother calling them. You can thank me later…or now.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of your cycling plans for the weekend (or, if you enter in on Monday, what you cycled over the weekend).
Note that if you partied in a hot-tub at a ski resort instead of cycling this weekend, that’s fully acceptable. I’m 100% on your side. Obviously though, simply detail that activity instead as your response.
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, March 6th, 2017 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

Maybe a short mountain bike ride after a very bad cold.

In case it doesn´t rain 2 hours on Saturday and another 2 on Sunday.
I would love this for my training !
I’m hoping to get a three hour hilly ride in before the sun comes up on Sunday. I’m a vampire.
The last thralls of rain that have inundated California this winter are predicted for this weekend. Thus I believe I will go for a ride on Friday afternoon, probably 43 miles and then on Sunday depending on rain I’ll do 64 hilly miles. If too much rain than I’ll resort to the indoor trainer on Sunday :(.
An epic 60km MTB ride in the countryside! :)
Riding in the sun for at least a few hours! And a few hills :)
I’ll go for my first outside cycling run, around 60k. I hope….
I’ll be scrubbing in new Schwalbe Pro Ones on the local benchmark hill climb. A 20 minute job called Old La Honda. The area has been in tatters because of the extremely rainy winter, so I’ve mostly been using Zwift. Why new tires? This photo should explain it.
Just rollers for me (unless I can sneak out before the kids get up)…. ssshhh, don’t tell.
I’m from Poland. It’s a bit cold here (around 6 degree Celsius), but that won’t stop me to shut on a bike during this weekend and to roll around 70km on Saturday as a first spin after the winter break (and using stationery trainer). Sunday, on the other hand, will be my race time for 10km run event in Wrocław, Poland. Next week, I’m starting commuting to work with my bike :-)
Regards
Jarek
Ride as far as I can but I’ll be able to go back ;)
Riding the trainer after the kids go to bed.

First handling ride with the new tri bike. I’d love to get a power meter on the rig!
I have been sick for the last 2 weeks. Lost 5 pounds, so my power to weight ratio must be amazing, or not. Either way my weekend will consist of eating and resisting the urge to go for a ride while spring weather allures me.

It’s Little League season so that’s eating up a lot of time. I hope to get a 90 minute ride in on Sunday with a few small climbs in the Santa Cruz mountains if the roads are still there.
Riding with the Triathlon team a rolling hills route at the center of Israel
Still recovering from a bad stomach ache so only 20-30km on flat terrain for me…

Short cycling on Sunday as next week I have Barcelona marathon.
Sunday: 90min on rollers
Will be running 15 miles on Saturday, but gonna do an easy ride on Friday first.

Friday evening, after the rest of the family has tucked in for the night, will be spent on the (dumb) trainer just in front of my TV running a workout on Zwift.
