The Swim/Bike/Run Gear I Use List
Many readers stumble into my website in search of information on the latest and greatest sports tech products. But at the end of the day, you might just be wondering “What does Ray use when not testing new products?”. So here is the most up to date list of products I like and fit the bill for me and my training needs best! DC Rainmaker 2023 swim, bike, run, and general gear list. Saturday: Body weight exercises (YAYOG, First Class, Stappers – Ugh)
Sunday: “Rest day” – light body weight exercises (starting on “The Hacker’s Diet” Fitness Ladder, plus a pull-ups ladder).
There Will be some trainer sessions and probably one weight training session as well.

Taper for a half next weekend with a short run on Sunday.

Buying a bike trainer! Never owned one before.
I’ve got a 2 hour indoor ride (supporting a local charity) and a 30 minute brick run right after…..in the rain!
Will probably ride the trainer and do some weight lifting.
Not an unusual weekend:
– Fri: weight training;
– Sat: long bike ride solo;
– Sun: easy bike ride or run with the family.

I’ll be running a becostumed 5k…followed by an appointment with my boot fitter to get my new ski boots dialed in. It’s a truly fall thing to do here in Colorado.
I’ve been sick all week, feeling better today, so hopefully I will complete my long run on Saturday then long ride Sunday. Maybe I’ll even get a much needed swim in.

This weekend I’m in my final week of taper before my very first NYC marathon the following weekend :)
Saturday will be a 3km time trial followed by a nice cruisy 90 min run through central park on sunday morning.
