Its raining here and the inlaws are in for the weekend. Basting a turkey while watching the giro is now the plan.

I plan on doing my first long run after getting over achillies tendinitis! Probably about 10 miles or so.

Our weekend will begin with a hike at Torrey Pines Preserve in La Jolla. Later, an afternoon trip to the dog park with our two German Shepherds and one insane Pug/Shitzu. Sunday, we’ll get the bikes out and pedal around San Diego Bay, ending with a ferry ride back to Coronado. On Memorial Day, we’ll give thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

20 mile training run on Saturday to pace a friend doing a marathon in a month. Lots of foam rolling and stretching the rest of the weekend.
Saturday will be a short run followed by some yoga/core work. Sunday is a day off to enjoy the holiday and Monday will likely be a moderate 5 mike run.
Gravel metric century on Saturday followed by my son’s graduation ceremony on Sunday!
We are going out to the lake with our camper, dogs, and grandkids. Hopefully the rain will stay away and we can get some riding in.
I’m thinking Pork Tenderloins, Chicken and the classic burgers and hot dogs over the three days. Intersperse that with some gravel riding and riding around the neighborhood with my kids!

Going to start with a rest day visit to the movies to see X-Men Apocalypse. Followed by some KOM hunting on Saturday. A trip to the National Zoo in DC on Sunday. And finally on Monday, hoping for a miss by the potential Tropical Storm in the Atlantic. All the while, following the goings-on in the Giro d’Italia.
I’ve got a 20 mile training run which is my last long run (over 12 miles) before my first full Marathon + this will be the run that takes me over 1000km for 2016.

This weekend is all about finishing a masters thesis due in on Wednesday. Lots of walking from computer to kettle and back.
I hope to ride with my informal racing team ~50-60 miles on Memorial Day (US).
Won’t have time for any training at all, but I will be hard at work in the team behind the first triathlon of the 2016 season in Sweden.

As a new listener to the DC podcast I’ll be walking 10k Saturday whilst catching up to the recent episode, and doing a 1h recovery ride. I’ve just got back into cycling after several operations, so it’s slow going!
Sunday I’ll be off to a friends 40th BBQ with my daughter, and looking for a century to enter later in the year in the morning.
Monday I’ll be doing a 3h ride in Z2 with intervals in the last hour! Pain.
I’ll also try to keep the spending to a minimum all weekend as I’m saving for a road bike. Currently using a hybrid.
Btw… bought the Garmin Vivoactive HR off your review. Love it as a daily tracker! Use a 510 on my bike which I’ll update as soon as I can.

I will be heading to the beach for the long weekend, so will be doing some easy runs and hiking sand dunes!
On saturday a 15k run and then helping a friend with some work in his garden (pretty sure it will count as training) and on sunday a nice ride on the bike. Probably about 70k. That should do, I guess.
