How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what your training plans are for the weekend ahead. For those in the US, it’s a long weekend – so substituting your BBQ’ing plans for training plans is acceptable.
The reason you need a short description of ‘what’ is that if you just put a simple one word answer (i.e.5k or hot dog), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. This is a pulled pork kinda place. Got all that?

First triathlon of the season this weekend – shorter local race. 1000m/30km/8km SBR. It’s a fun race and kicks off the season. BBQ with friends afterwards!
Weight lifting, endurance training and weather acclimating. By that I mean building a patio and a shed moving wood and rocks….I should really try to get in at least a slow paced run in between thunder storms though, trying to avoid going crazy.
Training for my first Sprint Triathlon at the end of June so this weekend starts with swimming and running on Saturday followed by a visit to a local vineyard Saturday night and nice bike ride on Sunday. Monday will be geared towards grilling out, knocking a few cold ones down and relaxing.
I’d like to get my long bike ride in….but we will see if the month old baby will let me. Heads up Ray, your fitness is gonna take a hit! It’s worth it, but just being honest.

I have a 22 km run for today Saturday 80 km bike and Sunday 10 km recovery run
I will hit the gym today and on Saturday and Sunday I will do some running.
It’s a step back week in the Hal Higdon marathon 3 plan, so I’ve only got a 5K race this weekend.
Saturday – 2 hr ride with HIM intervals; 20 min run off
Sunday – 1:15 min treadmill run (on call for work).
Monday – BBQ, workout, BBQ
Two longish bikes, two runs and two swims.
5-mile run today, BBQ tomorrow (and a run or hike?), long run Sunday, shorter run or hit the gym on Monday.
Thirty minute run Saturday, long ride Sunday, then a day off with family Monday.
Commute home from work Friday evening, and maybe a short run (<10k) Saturday.
Friday will be 50 minute treadmill training and some weight lifting. Sunday a long run in thunder and rain. Love running!
I will be doing the usual Memorial Day holiday workout which consists of eating way too many hotdogs while playing cornhole with the family then feeling like a glutton and going on an ill-advised run afterwards.
