First off, no, I’m not giving away the Easter Bunny. That’d involve going to a nearby shopping mall and somehow kidnapping the poor guy as he gets photos taken with small children. And I’m pretty sure that’d be awkward for everyone involved.
Instead, I’ll be like an Easter Bunny – and some lucky duck (or bunny as it may be) will get their gadget wishes fulfilled. No searching for semi-rotten poorly water-colored eggs required.
The winner will get a $600 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell. If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the new Garmin Fenix3 HR, to a Fitbit Blaze, a pair of Hawaiian themed underwear (yes, actually) to the WatTeam Power Meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what your training plans are for the weekend ahead – with or without the bunny. Note that eating chocolate eggs is totally valid nutrition.
The reason you need a short description of ‘what’ is that if you just put a simple one word answer (i.e.5k), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, March 28th, 2016 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

Final training runs for my second marathon.
last training before paris marathon…tapering !
Probably a 5 mile run on Saturday, and then a short brick on Sunday.
Some easy runs. With a ride when sun comes out.
The weather is going to suck, so I’m doing my long ride on Saturday instead of Easter Sunday. I guess that means 2 hours of threshold work before Easter brunch!
Did a 30k run yesterday so this weekend it will be short 5k recovery run and a swim training.
My ‘training’ will be unstructured I’m afraid. With a newborn baby just arrived I might manage to get an hour on the bike…
I have an easy 45 minute run planned for Friday, a 3 hour – long run for Saturday, and a trainer ride for Sunday. I might switch Saturday and Sunday depending on the timing of the forecasted rain.
Flying to the US so my training plan will be to be seated on an Airplane…. and hopefully some running on sunday.
Long runs on Friday and Saturday. Chilling on Sunday.
I’ll be travelling to Dubai, so I’m afraid I’ll only be able to get in a short treadmill run..
Today I’ll run the furthest I’ve ever run, 28km. Hopefully. Unless the easter bunny eats me. Then I’ll die, and tomorrow I’ll rise again to swim laps. Sunday, I’ll just eat eggs. Lots of eggs.
Running, running and running. Happy days:)
Trail conference this evening with François d’Haene and
2h longrun on sunday
Some weight training on Saturday and a long, long run as training for the Madrid marathon on Sunday!
At Saturday easy run 10K.
At Sunday long run 25K.
Looking forward to getting home from traveling with kids and hopefully some skate skiing in the fresh Colorado snow.
Boring session on a trainer. No bunny ahead.
A couple of runs, a long one on Saturday, short ones on Friday and Sunday.
Hopefully do an Easter parkrun, but otherwise the weekend will be heavily biased towards recovery and nutrition…
A short run on Sunday
8km Run today and 6km on sunday while im at Work?
Swimming on saturday evening and running on sunday : ).
Gonna do a 8k and 16k run with some well deserved chocolate afterwards :)
Gotta train for that marathon in may!
100km bike ride this Saturday doing a new route. Will be riding from Marikina to Pililia Windmills in Rizal Philippines for the first time.
I’ll be trail running 25km Friday, mountain biking Saturday, trail running agaain Sunday and Pilates on Monday
I’ll aim for a nice long run (>15km) on Saturday morning, than -if I can bring my bike along with us to the toddler’s grandma – I’ll do some hill reps on the nearby hills around Szekszard, Hungary.
Just some light training between the Flemish cobbled classics.
I’ll go for a simple jog in Venice, Italy. Gorgeous sights, but not the most runner-friendly environment unfortunately.
9 mile long run on Sunday
I’m going to have a 40 km ride and a 10 km walk with my spouse
Running in the local fileds with my girlfriend next to me on a bicycle
Cenotes scuba diving. And some OW swimming er snorkeling.
Just recovering from a cold, I’ll take it slow today (also given the poor weather). Tomorrow a tour with my race bike, probaly some 50k. Sunday with the family, Monday family will be gone so weather permitting a 100k ride would be cool.
Early morning 90k bike ride to my gfs parents to have a goood looong easter brunch! Oh yeaah
Fueling up on a lot of chocolate, running around hiding bunnies for the kids and trying to sneak the odd run in
Saturday will be threshold run (3×10 min), Sunday eeeeasy 90 minutes and maybe some bike.
Few hours in the gym and then a run outside the city enjoying the post rain cool here in Malawi on Sunday
Last long run before Boston
Out road cycling with my girl on Saturday and Mountain biking on Sunday.
I will be running the second HM distance of my life and go to the Sauna afterwards.
Bike, running, surfing, and chasing 2 year old around
Road bike 100 kms Saturday abd rest Sunday
I’ll go for one or two Zwift workouts and some core training. And of course there will be serious easter egg hiding and seeking with the kids.
I will probably be staying indoors, as it is going to rain. Unfortunately :(
A 10K running race. Hoping to get under the magic hour !
I’ll be stepping up the effort on the new Zwift mountain route in readiness for “the guys” cycling weekend trip. I’m sure it wont get competitive ;-)
Long run Friday morning (in a few minutes ;-) ) and another long run Sunday morning.
My plan for the weekend is a 1-hour run, a short swim (hopefully) and running after my daughter, which basically fills the whole weekend, apart from eating ham and hard boiled eggs, which is my favourite tradition of all.
Training plans this weekend? If the weather cooperates, I’ll be heading out for some rides around Seattle to prep for the Emerald City Great Ride next weekend which will be the only time they allow bicycles to cross the 520 Floating Bridge…supposedly, the longest floating bridge in the world. If the weather doesn’t (this is Seattle after all) I’ll be hitting the Kickr to stay warm!
I’ll just seat in a plastic chair while my 4-year old daughter chased the egg for me as she will share her crop.
Treadmill running on Saturday and snowboarding on Sunday.
will be visiting wellness centre with mineral water procedures, treatment programmes and of course – gym :)
My knees have been acting up recently so tomorrow is going to be my first run in two weeks. Wish me luck!
About to go out on a ~100k ride right now. Might be able to squeeze in another ride or two over the weekend, but not sure as spring has yet to arrive in Norway. Still ~2C here which isn’t exactly conducive to cycling.
I’m planning a run every day over the for day break we have hate in the UK this weekend with a hilly Parkrun on Saturday morning
On my training schedule this Saturday: a 12k run with some longer intervals. Sunday will be unhealthy on several fronts: one hour less sleep and too much chocolate eating…
Stretching and some walking. Next weeks starts block 1 of my 52 week training plan for Falls Peaks Challenge 2015 (235km, 4500 vertical meters, 13 hour time limit)
DCR style… Taking a plane and going for a run around a strange city!
Doing a not so long run around 20K and possibly some short recovery run the next day!
After 7 weeks of injury I’m getting back to running and are extending the distance carefully.
So hopefully I can manage 20 km on Saturday
sat – tempo run
sun – long run
Go for two 60km moderate pace rides and go bouldering in the evenings
Start running again after a bad cold in the last 2 weeks, that is the plan for my easter weekend
Sadly my training will only extend to a prolonged physio session. Love knee rehab.
Got plenty of rain in Northern California in the last few weeks so I’ve been lazy with my training. Trying to get back into it this weekend. I think I’ll run 5-6 miles easy on Saturday and 10-12 on Sunday, followed by an Easter feast to refuel.
Long bike on saturday, swim and run for sunday
I’ll be riding a sportive on saterday (100miles) en then the usual club ride on sunday (+100miles) and in between I’ll be eating eastereggs to get my calories :-)
Recovery ride for 2hours on Sunday, eating chocolate….
After 26 years of not running (!), out for my second run today, and third on Sunday
Gonig for an intervals run followed by a 250m climb half marathon the day after.
Have a nice weekend!
Some steady trail runs along with some Easter egg hide and search thrown in.
Need to finish off my 100km for the week… Easy!
Going for a long walk with a friend before easter dinner
Well, I planned a trail of 17 km with 500m D+, but as i’m a bit injured I’ll go for a Z2 training with no D+.
Ankle rehab :(
Working towards the end of my 10K training programm.
On saturday, I’m doing a 2,5 h ride to prepare for chocolate eating on Easter.
Cycling, if weather is benevolent…
Two nice long bike rides and one long run.
As the garden is waking up, it needs some attention. Maybe do some cycling on sunday..
Working in Manila over the weekend (home base is DC)… so with the temps getting into the 90s in the day it will be some predawn runs doing circuits of Ayala Park (about a 1k loop).
I’m going to do a one hour recovery ride on Saturday and a three hour endurance ride on Sunday.
The weather is finally getting better so workouts outside are on the cards – time to get the bike off the turbo and onto the roads at last!
Zwift 100km ride if the weather sucks, or 100+ outside if happy weather :0)
One 25k trailrun to finalize a course for a trailrun/clinic combination for work colleagues. Another 20-25k trailrun just to get out of the house.
Training for the XCM race that will be held on April 3rd.
Will do a couple of long segments through the woods nearby.
Friday will be a running pushchair run with the wife (and baby!) Followed by a ride, probably up the mountain on zwift. Pushchair is the BoB Ironman if you’re interested, Ray. We love it!
Saturday and Sunday will involve some swimming cycling and running, but not quite sure how yet!
Long run on Saturday, with a Parkrun ‘sandwhiched’ in between. Then probably commute for 5/10km on Sunday…and let the festivities begin!
My biggest goal this weekend is to watch both Belgian classics!
I hope to break my longest run PR with a 32 km run on Saturday morning.
Evening turbo session on Friday, gym on Saturday then long ride on the bike on Easter Sunday
I intend to (if extended flu season permits) go for a 70km ride around some lakes here in the Netherlands
Tapering for a race on Monday
Easter egg hunting, playing out with the family. Hopefully a proper bike ride and a run somewhere in there too.
Friday ride, Saturday parkrun, Sunday ride to bank some negative calories before the bunny comes.
Just the first Mountainbike Tour in 2016 at sunlight
Going to do some steep, fast hiking on vacation in the Alps. Thanks to vacation, the training will be during the week.
We are on holidays and I haven’t brougth the bike, so I plan to run.
I hope I can remember how to, this year I’ve done it only 5 times and the running season is about to start.
Good weekend to all of you
On Saturday
2:40 Bike
15 min Run
On Sunday
1:30 run
