The Love You Wanted: $600 Gadget Giveaway

IMG_2922

What’s that?  Your Valentine’s Day was a bust?  No worries, I’m here to try and cheer ya up.  It’s your opportunity to win something you’ll really love (which, may be in addition to someone else you love).

The winner will get a $600 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime.  By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell.  If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the new Garmin Fenix3 HR to a GoPro Hero4 Black to a water bottle to the PowerTap G3 Hub Power Meter (all of which are under $600!), or heck, even towards a new trainer.  Whatever warms your heart.

How to enter:

Simply let me know what was on your training log for last weekend from a workout perspective.  Quick and easy!

Try to make it more than a few words (i.e. not just ‘10K’), so you’ll avoid the SPAM holding tank (I manually clear it out). And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of old SPAM.  Got all that?

Good luck!

The giveaway entry period will run through Saturday, February 20th, 2016 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time.  Winner will be selected randomly.  One entry per person.  The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

I have pneumonia, so my training week was spent wishing I was training and getting a good sweat going walking from the couch to the bed.

Snow outside translates to treadmill inside

Had to long for my bike while doing tax’s most of the weekend, squeezed in a ride at lunch on Friday and several km’s pushing a stroller Saturday and Sunday.

  11. Steve H

60km and 1200m vertical on the bike, with three climbs. Hard work for me!

  16. Several hundred metre walk to catch an Uber; followed by several trips to the bar for beers n’ burgers. Dancing definitely provided some anaerobic activity. Overall a great B-day weekend

  66. Kevin Brice

Saturday was 30 miles on Zwift using my Garmin Vector 2 power meter and my standard trainer. This is a great training program, but I would love to have a smart trainer like Bkool to use with it.

Windy ride in flat Miami. Had to pedal hard going down a 5-10% grade hill (bridge), and very glad I don’t have any aero wheels on.

  80. Brandon Blanck

Standard Saturday morning swim with the group that was skipped because the coach was out of town. It was a long weekend here, so Monday’s trainer ride was also skipped because I was lazy. Perhaps with a $600 credit I can buy some sort of “workout motivational tool”.

  81. Sam S

Thanks Ray and a belated congratulations!

Killer spine class and a quick 5k to get the legs pumping

  83. Carl

It’d been a while since I was able to swim. (Since August, to be more exact; in that time my wife and I had a child, quit working at a jail, and became a teacher!)

Finally renewed my subscription to the local pool and hit the treadmill before a quick splash just to remind the body how this floating along thing works.

  96. Mike

    Skiing in Whistler

  97. Gary

This week I have been battling the flu. I have been just walking 5 to 7 km a day just to keep me going. Hopefully I’ll be good next week.

  100. Ben

Started the week with some fast laps around Richmond Park as it was such a nice day (rare in the UK for this season!) followed by some yoga and stretching. Wednesday was a training session on Zwift (targeting raising FTP). Friday went for a 5k run, weekend was spent in Paris with the other half (ended up walking about 30k!)
    :)
