What’s that? Your Valentine’s Day was a bust? No worries, I’m here to try and cheer ya up. It’s your opportunity to win something you’ll really love (which, may be in addition to someone else you love).
The winner will get a $600 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell. If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the new Garmin Fenix3 HR to a GoPro Hero4 Black to a water bottle to the PowerTap G3 Hub Power Meter (all of which are under $600!), or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever warms your heart.
How to enter:
Simply let me know what was on your training log for last weekend from a workout perspective. Quick and easy!
Try to make it more than a few words (i.e. not just ‘10K’), so you’ll avoid the SPAM holding tank (I manually clear it out). And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of old SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Saturday, February 20th, 2016 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

Last weekend was freezing outside so I kept my training to a long indoor treadmill run and some intervals on the indoor bike trainer.
Saturday was a rest day. Sunday I did an interval set on a spin bike (Flying 40s) followed by a 4 mile run on the treadmill.
I rode about 20 miles on the trainer Saturday night, then an open ice hockey session sunday morning
Rainy weekend left me with just indoor trainer options, nothing too exciting, hoping for some good weather soon up here in the PacNorthWest!
Unfortunately, I did nothing as I was laid up from a cold making the rounds at work. As a bonus, I did get lots of sleep, and am now close to 100%. Well enough to commute. Had planned on taking my youngest out for a nice ride on his new bike.
Nice Ray ;) Some cycling around Paris, Moutain and road bike. No swimming / running … tendinitis …
Sadly recovering from the office cold – though had wanted to get a long ride in now I’m in Sunny Texas.

Too cold and icy outside in Illinois last weekend so it was all indoors. 2 hour easy trainer ride on Saturday, then split Sunday’s interval workout into 2 parts to avoid brain melt. Turned out to be 1hr at noontime and 1.5hrs in the evening.

I did a spinning class, a bodypump class and went for a run.
Shoveling Snow made up most of my training this past weekend.
I ran the Run Oak Island Half Marathon and just prayed to survive since my training took a dive from an upper respiratory virus for over two months! Thankfully I made it, but it was almost my slowest half. After doing that I cannot wait to get back on the bandwagon and get faster! Jogging intervals and walking on Sunday to do some recovery.

actually, nothing…. being a father has the gift of getting you sick a tiny wee bit more often. You’ll know what I mean in a couple of months when you’re kid gets to kindergarden… :)
It was a little chilly here in the Chicago area so I did a 1:15 trainer session Saturday then a 1,500 yard swim Sun morning followed immediately by a 6.5 mile run on the indoor track at the gym. I kept from getting dizzy going in circles by watching the 2nd graders play basketball below. Some of those coaches forget hey are coaching 2nd graders…

Training for a half marathon in May so I had my first 60 minute non-stop run!
Few family problems at the moment so not much training going on at the weekends. To make matters worse my gym closed down so only running on the street. To cold and poor conditions to commute to work on the cycle. Safer on the motorbike. Problem with the MC is no place to store all my gear if I swim so no swimming either at the moment.
May just get fat and old!
Training for my first 10k. Would really like to get a Garmin running watch to track my training. Maybe a forerunner 630 lies in my future.
Cheers

Unfortunately, ice and snow meant mostly mentally preparing for the upcoming spring season on the bike!
