I’m sure many of you received various sports gadgets over the last few weeks as part of the holidays. But for those unlucky elves who received a half-eaten gel packet in their Christmas stocking from their not-so-significant others, I’ve got a festivus of a present for you: This giveaway.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell. If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the new Garmin Fenix3 to a BSX Gen2 Insight to a random pair of socks to the 4iiii’s Precision Power Meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘’why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. A360), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Thursday, December 31st, 2015 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

The Garmin Fenix 3 has my attention. It’s uncompromising design would consolidate and replace many of my current standalone devices.
I would get a Scosche Optical HR sensor, Finis swimming mp3 player and I don’t need them but another pair of running shoes. Probably NB 1400v4 (when they’re released!). Why? Because I’m sick of a chest HR strap, I get bored swimming in the pool and I am addicted to running shoes.
I would go with the new Garmin 230. because my Garmin 420 is starting to have issues and I want something less clunky,
Santa didn’t pay attention to my needs. In August I need to stand on the startline for Ironman Kalmar and have no motivation. Bet the 4iii powermeter can kick my as out of the couch:)

A Garmin FR235 or a TomTom Spark to replace my old GPS watch will be nice. Hm, actually with $500 credits I think I can get both :)
I would get a stages power meter for dura ace 9000. To replace my powertap so I can use any wheel on my bike.
I would get the HRM swim/tri for sure. And some sort of bike computer, not sure which one (good thing this site can help with that!)
I’d like to have a Garmin Edge 1000 for my street bike.
Hate it to mount my Fenix on the handlebars.
Thanks
I’d get a power meter for my wife. Maybe powertap P1.
I would get BSX Gen2 just for the heck of it!
Probably a Garmin 520 – as much as I like my RFLKT, I think it would be a nice step up.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!
Microsoft Band to give a try to an all-in-one product for training.
I’d really enjoy the use of a pair of powertap P1 pedals.
I would use the prize winnings to purchase a new power meter!!!!
Definitely the Forerunner 235 to replace my Fenix2 and Vivofit – I’m definitely no DCRainmaker and would like to run with just one device!
Wanted a Garmin Virb elite or Polar A360 set (his/hers)
I would get a Forerunner 630
I wanted lots of GoPro goodies. I got a hoodie. I guess that sort of counts.
Fenix 3 and the donate it to my girlfriend so she van use it to train for her first 70.3 triatlon.
I would like to get a Garmin Forerunner 235 or 630. I am looking for a few new tools to improve my running in 2016.
Thanks for the contest!
I’d like to have the Fenix 3. Perfect for a data addict like myself.
Any power meter since one would help me take my training to the next level.
4iiii power meter, need help because the Canadian dollar is killing me in North Carolina this winter.
A Garmin 520 for sure! Using my phone for navigation in the Chevreuse valley you know very well is just not that great…

Garmin Epix to have maps always on the wrist for running and cycling!
A Garmin Fenix 3. It would be the best way to start 2016 trainings.

Thanks for all you do.
Bill

A Gps unit or à power meter
A new Garmin Edge 1000, because my 810 has certainly seen better days ;)
Either a Garmin 15 or 25 running watch (I’d have to check your comparison tool), whichever one is simpler with the minimum features. It would be for my wife who keeps flip flopping about whether or not she should start walking and possibly running, to give her motivation to get out there and at least start. Then with the rest, I’d get her (and possibly myself) a good set of shoes. If there is still $$ left, I’d get myself the Surefeet Black insoles, which have been very helpful.
A Garmin 520 edge would be really great. Thanks
Garmin forerunner 235; my forerunner 610 is a bit dated. Oh, and some socks to fill out the $500.
A Garmin Edge 520 because my Edge 500 is getting pretty old.
Winter road boots and some new wind-proof tights. You can only ride in the basement for so long….
I’d love to have the Garmin FR 235 so I can improve on my current 5min/km snail pace!
If possible, use the $ into the PT pedals, so that I can easily get power data across my 5 bikes.
Otherwise the bsx gen2 could be a nice toy…
Enjoy the holidays.
I would get the Ambit 3 peak. I have only ever used Garmin watches for running. I Mostly run trail ultras and on the east coast we have a very tough gps scenario, with lots of twists turns and trees. I have had issues with the garmins lately and would love to test the sunnto in the woods.
Happy New Year!
I’d love a Polar V800
So many things I need, I don’t think 500$ would cover it all but it would sure be a good start.
– I’m going trough my first winter season (i.e. snow), so apparel most definitely, I started getting some but it’s quite expensive so I’m buying slowly…
– The new Garmin HRM Tri
– Finally, would likely buy the Jaybirds X2, I was planning to buy something cheaper but you know when you win something might as well treat yourself a little bit…
Thanks

Nobody took the hint that I wanted a Garmin Edge 520 bundle to replace my tired iPhone/rflkt setup.
I want a Garmin HRM with running dynamics for my Garmin Epix.

Garmin Edge 520 so I could stalk some KOMs in their natural habitat.
I´d want a TomTom Spark Cardio+ Music to get plenty of music on my 2016 runs!
If I found $500, I’d actually have to decide between the Fenix 3 or the FR 230 and a Ruthm band or FR 630.
It’s a choice I don’t have to worry much with right now, though.
I have my eyes on Garmin Fenix3 Sapphire
