Have some fun in the travel section.
I travel a fair bit, both for work and for fun. Here’s a bunch of random trip reports and daily trip-logs that I’ve put together and posted. I’ve sorted it all by world geography, in an attempt to make it easy to figure out where I’ve been.
My Photography Gear: The Cameras/Drones/Action Cams I Use Daily
The most common question I receive outside of the “what’s the best GPS watch for me” variant, are photography-esq based. So in efforts to combat the amount of emails I need to sort through on a daily basis, I’ve complied this “My Photography Gear” post for your curious minds (including drones & action cams!)! It’s a nice break from the day-to-day sports-tech talk, and I hope you get something out of it!
The Swim/Bike/Run Gear I Use List

I hope to start new year with a beatiful gift!!!! :-)
I have to own a Gopro 4 this year! I know I will win this time! Will see if the universe agrees.
Power meter – I don’t have one at the moment but, as my three year old daughter would say, I want one… now.
I used before Garmin FR70 and now – Garmin 220.
I think for now the most interesting is Garmin 235. It combines sport and smartwatch features.
As most smartwatches lacks good sport features, especially GPS, HRM support via ANT or can’t talk directly to BT HRM.
For me Garmin 235 is optimal though a bit pricey. I suspect I will need chest HRM for more reliable heart rate data during workouts but I hope to have rest heart rate to see overall progress.
I’d probably get a couple of activity trackers for my parents (Fitbit Charge HR, Mio Fuse? I haven’t decided yet), see if I can get them a little bit more motivated on exercising.
Rose gold and white Fenix 3. Because it’s so pretty….
I’d get myself a fenix 3 to prove to the Mrs I’m not a heartless emotionally extinct muppett after not getting her a Christmas present!!! She doesn’t yet know about the trip to Northumberland I’ve booked for her 40th Birthday as a joint present.

Really wanted a Fenix 3 for Xmas, didn’t get one!
I would use it for all my running, swimming, MTB and fitness tracking
Maybe a Fenix 3. But if I win, I will give it more thought ;)
I would like a CatEye ANT+ Integrated Speed/Cadence Sensor. Why? Because I am unable to get this in India. :)
A 4iii’s power meter so I can actually measure my efforts.
I’d probably get a GoPro because I’m late to that show.
Fenix3 because Over the holidays my nieces and nephews cinvinced me, 58, to run 1/2 marathon with them and I better start training!
The FR235 because having heart rate data will make me run faster.
New bike lights…we are having an unseasonably warm winter in North East England, but the lack of good lights is still forcing me indoors onto the turbo!
Everyone wants a Fenix 3 and I’m just sitting here wanting a FR235 and a Gopro Session.

Garmin 235… would be nice to run without a heart rate strap.

A new HRM-Swim or HRM-Tri to go with my favorite new watch–the Fenix 3!
I’d get a Fenix 3 (just for looks, cause I own 920XT) + HRM-TRI. You just have to keep up the tradition of getting more and more stuff.. Happy New Year

I have the fenix3 still on my list
A new trainer so my husband and I can ride inside at the same time!
I’d get a Garmin Fenix 3 Sapphire so that I can both look stunning and measurr my running and swimming performance.
I’d get a PowerTap C1 because it looks like a great power meter at an affordable price.. and for now it seems it can work with my Polar V650.
I want to buy one Garmin 1000 for my bike routes and for my training.
I would probably get Tacx Vortex as it is what would be most useful thing to get

I would most likely get P1 or the Forerunner 235
Garmin Fenix 3.
I would go with the Garmin Fenix 3 because running with my Garmin Edge 520 is a bit… uncomfortable :D
I’d probably get the Fenix 3. Either that or the FR630. Currently own the Vivoactive, which I really like but it lacks some functions and also could look better.
A welcome contribution to some P1 pedals
Yep, that would be the 4iiii power meter
Elite Qubo Digital Bluetooth Smart/ANT+ Wireless Trainer. Because i need a new trainer my 10 year old cycleops is falling apart.
I would go for a Fenix 3, would work nice for training and I like the look as an everyday watch, still counting my steps
A Tacx trainer, because eventually it will get cold here.

At this time I’d probably go with the Fitbit Surge (sadly no Windows Phone support from Garmin yet). But when it’s possible I would wait to see what Fitbit is going to tell us at the CES next week.
Does Clever Training sell time machines? If so, I’d use the credit towards one to go back a few months to when I was still in shape. Otherwise, a BSX Insight might help with getting things back in shape.

Garmin Edge 520 for the new road bike!
I would go for 4iiii’s Precision Power Meter
Towards a new trainer as my current one has broken down
