I would buy a Garmin Edge 1000. Simply the best bike computer there is.
Tacx Bushido Smart Interactive Indoor Cycling Trainer… This time Of the year I’m often getting home from work past midnight and having to be back in by 9am for another 14-15 hours shift with a trainer I can fit in at least an Extra 30min in my morning training and some extra brick workouts
I’d probably get 500 dollars worth of Body Glide – why? Because I’m really tired of walking funny after my long runs.
No but really I would get a scosche boom bottle, because why not, that’s cool. A 920XT quick release kit, an HRM-Swim – all to make my 920 just that much more useful. Then whatever is left over on Body Glide, for previously mentioned reason.
I would buy some kind of crazy DC Rainmaker-recommended power meter because… I’ve never cared about power but maybe I should? Maybe it would make the difference in 2016!?!
As a new cyclist, I would love a Garmin 520 and Garmin Vivoactive.
Yes! I would get the fenix 3 sapphire. . no question. . .beautiful watch.
I’d get a new Edge 520, because my old 705 has seen much, much better days.
HRM-tri so that I can get swim data with my fenix 3 :).
I think I would love to spend that lovely $500 voucher on a Fenix3. My 910XT is starting to feel a little behind the times.
I would get a bike helmet
I’d get the Fenix 3 because I’d look great wearing one.
The new garmin Fenix 3 because I’m three versions back in technology. Thanks Ray.
My $500 credit would go towards a Garmin Fenix 3 in gray with black band.
Why you ask? While I use a RFKLT on the bike and a Pebble Time when running, I still have to rely on my smartphone’s GPS with takes forever to get a fix, and frequently loses said GPS fix when riding on the hillside. Plus, I’d like to get into the “tri” part of “triathlete” in 2016 and add swimming to my workout schedule, and a Fenix would come in handy.
Garmin Fenix 3 for me, time to get down to business.
Fenix 3
New trainer!! With the new baby, my old ($50) trainer is simply too loud. Hoping to get a new one sson!
Garmin Forerunner 235…it’s time to stop packing the IPhone into a zip lock to water-proof it on runs. 18 months into running and it’s time to make an investment.
I think either a Wahoo Kickr trainer or upgrade my Garmin to a new Garmin 1000!
Garmin Edge 520 to replace my 5 year old 500.
I’ve been reading your posts about the new Garmin Forerunner 230, 235, and 630 units with great interest. I’m not sure which to go for, but winning would force the decision! My 910XT is getting a bit aged, and I’m not doing many tris any more, so it may be time to move to a running-specific watch.
Thanks for the great giveaway, Ray and Clever Training! And Happy New Year!
I’d get my girlfriend some new triathlon year and possibly a power meter as she trains for her first full IronMan next fall
A new GPS watch or a Power meter

I can use some reflective lights to keep me safe during the night time run.
I’d get a 920xt. My 910 has about kicked the bucket.
I would put it towards a new KICKR trainer.

I’d buy a power meter – probably the 4iiii; It will be my first!
Begin training for my first HIM this year, and received the Garmin HRM-Tri but not a nice Fenix3 or 920xt to pair with it. Kinda pathetic!
Garmin FR235. Would love to see how optical HR works.
Hi! I would buy a Garmin 520 as my first cycling computer to go with a power meter that I will hopefully eventually purchase!
Probably an indoor trainer and a new garmin watch.
Santa Ray: I’d like a Garmin Forerunner 920 XT with HRM in blue black. And an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle to keep people from stealing my new fancy watch. I promise I won’t shoot my eye out!
I badly need an indoor trainer because where I live (Naples, Italy), it’s difficult to ride during the week in the city and on weekends I get my a$$ kicked by some pretty serious riders. Help!
I would like to get a Fenix 3 – a huge upgrade for my forerunner 210. Thank you!!
I’d actually get some trainers, more than likely, since I can’t afford new ones. I saved up for some and bought them 6 months ago but I ended up not liking them. Then I’d get some winter clothes (they have that right? I know they’re in Florida). I’m moving to cold weather from the tropics. I saved up and finally bought myself a Garmin this Christmas so that’s why my list isn’t as cool, but certainly essential.
I would love to train with power. A crank based power meter would elevate my training to the next level. Thanks for doing this
A Garmin 920 because i can’t afford one right now, after christmas presents for three kids and a stay at home wife, plus donating to charity over the holidays. I need a merry christmas to me. By the way, happy new year to you Ray.
A heart rate transducer to start! Then who knows!
Struggling with this one but most likely the Fenix 3 given my traveling and wanting to do trials but also have something for my triathlons.
Fenix sapphire 3
Garmin edge 520 so I can upload to strava with my iPhone as my computer died making it impossible to upload with my edge 500
I would love to try out the new Garmin 630.
I already own the 620 and I can’t justify spending money on another sports watch.

I would get the fenix 3.. Would be so great
Fenix 3 would be great!
I could use new pedals and a new saddle :)
I would get a Garmin 920xt, because my 305 is dying :(
Garmin Forerunner 235, it would help track those runs.
A bike computer
I would go for something like the 920XT in order to replace my aging 310XT…
Thanks for writing and happy holidays!!!
I’d probably spring for a cycling computer like an Edge 500 because that’s pretty much the only thing I don’t have.
I’d buy the fenix I think…or maybe a trainer. Just had tkr. NEED rehab motivation. This would be wonderful
Garmin 920 so I. An change my routes and keep my boyfriend updated….
I will buy a very nice Polar… It didn’t get what I wanted.
I’d get the power meter. It’s the missing training tool.
I’d love a power meter! Ending my first year of triathlon I want to step up my game.
Precision power meter since I have all the other gadgets listed.
I would buy a power meter to begin training with power on the bike.
I’d get a Garmin 920XT because I’m a little behind everyone else and I still don’t have one! I would love to spend my free time (HA!) looking over my data to find areas where I can improve that I’m not already working on.
Because I just bought a new Forerunner 235 I would probbly use it to upgrade my brother from his old 220 to a newer version (230/225) and use the rest for a virb camera we both would use. Happy new year!
I’d use it for either the TomTom runner cardio or the Garmin FR225. Or the Fenix 3. The reason is that I lost my old Timex GPS when I moved Home just before Christmas.
I would buy a 920xt. As i just started with tri activities and wants a good watch for that.
Garmin 520 yo!!!!
Oh man, Fenix 3 hands down! Cheers! ;)
I need a gps watch with long battery life for an Ultramarathon. Maybe the Fenix? It wasn’t in the budget for Christmas.
I could use some new gear.
I would get a GoPro action camera to showcase my climbs in Glacier National Park in Montana.
I’d get a garmin 520 to go with my 920xt, so I won’t have to fiddle with quick release during transition.
Garmin 920XT for my wife! She bought me one and swore she would never wear a watch but now that she sees what this thing can do she wants one!
I would love a Stages Power meter simply because my current powermeter’less world means I have nothing to talk about with my peers in my group rides. They laugh at my HR anecdotes…LAUGH. :(
I’d buy the new garmin scale, and the HRM-Swim combo for winter pool training. That would take a lot of the sting out of catching up with Christmas bills!
Having moved to Canada and realizing how incredibly cold winters here are, I’d get an indoor trainer :)
I haven’t decided the product yet, but would love to try one of the new power options reviewed by DC Rainmaker. If I win, I will have to figure out which one!

Garmn 520, I would like biger display that my 910

A Garmin Forerunner 630 because I’m a geek and I want to try to figure out how it works. And to wear running.
A power meter for the bike since I don’t have one!
I’d want the Garmin Edge 520 to replace my older Edge 500 unit.
Forerunner 630 for a lighter running watch upgrade
What I would love is a kickr snap. Why? Well it would be for my gf. She loves my kickr so much I now have to share.
Daddy wants a Lactate Threshold Sensor
I’d get a Fenix 3 to motivate me to get into triathlons
