I’m sure many of you received various sports gadgets over the last few weeks as part of the holidays. But for those unlucky elves who received a half-eaten gel packet in their Christmas stocking from their not-so-significant others, I’ve got a festivus of a present for you: This giveaway.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell. If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the new Garmin Fenix3 to a BSX Gen2 Insight to a random pair of socks to the 4iiii’s Precision Power Meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘’why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. A360), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Thursday, December 31st, 2015 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

A powermeter for my bike or a Kask helmet would be very nice
Power meter! For sure.
I’d get a Fenix 3, I’m going to some austere locations soon and would like a rugged enough watch to come with me.
I didn’t get my Kickr :(
I’d go for power meter on winter bike.
I would get the fenix 3. I would use it at work and for training!
Power meter. Definitely!
I’d get a power meter, since this is the only bike-equipment I am missing :-/
I would love a 630. Garmin is making some great toys right now and I think the 630 is the leap I want to use long term. I do wish it had a 635 mode though, for longer term health tracking of heart rate throughout the day.
I would get a Quarq Elsa RS.
Ambit 3 …. I simply have waited long enough to get the #4 or whatever it will be called when it will be finally published :-)
Wahoo Kickr desk, only joking :)
Fenix 3 sapphire
I’d like the Garmin Varia Radar bundle. I can’t justify buying one at its current price point. However as a gift… : )
Could really go for a Garmin Edge 520! My 500 feels a bit ancient after I got a 520 for my dad.
Garmin Vector S. the odds weren’t in my favor.
A new GPS running watch. Time to sunset my old Polar RS100.
I think I’d pick up the Fenix 3 (or maybe Ambit 3 peak) to update my current Fenix 2
A Fenix 3 and a partridge in a pear tree for me…. Please!
I really want (need?) a new Garmin Edge 520. My older Edge 500 has given out…and won’t connect to my computer. I lost (likely my own fault for not uploading for a long time) 6 months of workouts!
Garmin Forerunner 235 for running, and Fenix 3 for everything else.
A new trainer. Its cold with lots of snow here in Utah right now.
I’d buy my wife the Garmin Fenix 3 so she doesn’t keep taking mine. Happy new year, Ray!
Probably a power meter of some kind… I haven’t decided which one yet. I like the powertaps, but haven’t locked it down.
Garmin 235!
The Garmin Index Smart Scale, of course because there is no way to buy it in Germany at the moment.
wahoo kicker desk!
A new Garmin watch to replace my FR15.
Garmin Fenix 3 to take on my AT section hikes, 1000 miles done, only 1200 to go! And mountain biking rides for the cardio.
Tacx Neo Smart – I need to get a trainer before the COLD weather hits
The Fenix 3 or 4 (if I get to wait until a new release) or anything bike related since I am new to Tri….Merry Christmas and Happy New Year all!
I needed Santa to bring me a new gps watch!
I’d get a Wahoo ELEMNT because having my old iPhone4 strapped to the handlebars just isn’t a great solution for winter/rain riding.
4iiii Power Meter, because I would like to train with power ..
A power meter! I really need one!
Powertap P1 pedals
I’ll go for a garmin with wrist based heart rate and phone connectivity. Or a Fenix 3…
A Garmin VivoActive to replace my old Polar s720.
Garmin varia cuz I want to be safer on the road.
Garmin 630 as an upgrade is in order.
A Kickr so i can kick more ass.
I would love to have the Fenix for all my trail runnings in 2016
Definitely a Garmin 920xt. The next step to enhance my training
I’d get the Rose Gold Fenix3 :).
I’d probably go for the Fenix 3. I’d be nice to have one watch that does it all.
Garmin 920XT. This would be an upgrade to my 410. Also, might pick up a footpod for indoor runs.
A new Garmin edge bike computer so i can get more fields as compared to just using the 910xt.
I’d get the Garmin 630. I’m enjoyed renewed interest in running with the 620 I got 1.5yrs ago thanks to your site and review. The 630 adds a few more interesting/fun features like Connect IQ.
I’d get a Garmin FR235 watch to jumpstart my running for the year. Thanks!
A second trainer for my girlfriend!
I’d get a new Garmin run watch. I’m still kicking it with a 210. It’s a great watch but standing in the run waiting for a satellite signal is a bummer.
I’d probably go for a Garmin 920xt but the Fenix 3 could tempt me.
I would love a Polar V800. Why? Because I received a Polar M450 for Christmas and want to keep it in the family. While the TomTom Multisport I received last Christmas has been good, I am at the point where I need to get something with real triathlon functionality.
I’d probably replace my Garmin Forerunner 910xt with the 630 with HRM because my forerunner is getting solder and older (me toi)
I’d love to be able to buy a Garmin Edge 520 to control my smart trainer.
I would like to get a Fenix 3 from Garmin or a power meter!
I’d get a Wahoo Kickr to develop my training on days I’m stuck at the house.
Power meter…becouse i would love to try one:)
A power meter to assist with my hip rehab — though which device is a mystery at this point as the prices keep changing…
I’d get the new Garmin 630 because it is time for an upgrade.
Garmin Fenix 3, since it would be helpful with hiking in Colorado.
I’d go for a new Fenix 3, because I’m tired of switiching betwen my pebble and my tomtom every time i going for a run.
I’d invest in a Fenix 3 and hit the trails.
new trainer since mine is about 15 years old and lacks all the new smart capabilities.
A garmin 520 would be nice…or a HRM-Tri…or a Power meter….how much is it we can spend :-)
as usual please pick me :-D
I would definitely get a pair of Power Tap P1 pedals.
Probably the Garmin Forerunner 235. Would like to ditch the chest strap once and for all.
i’d probably go for a fly6 light/camera combo or maybe a 4iii power meter for my winter bike.
I’d like a Fenix3 I think.
I would choose a gopro hero4 silver to take on our upcoming hike of the narrows in zion.
A Garmin Forerunner 630 because my old watch is broken
The Garmin 520 maybe? I just got the 920 and love how everything just syncs.
Garmin 520 to train for my first IM
Garmin FR630 because the Fenix 3 is still too large for my wrist. If there’s extra left over, a new Edge because the old sync method seems archaic now that I’ve experienced the new one via Bluetooth connection to a phone.
I’d probably get a Fenix 3 — because I’m still using a Polar s725x.
I’d like the Garmin Fenix 3 because I am a rower looking into doing some Triathlons, so obviously a fancy watch is necessary.
The new Garmin Edge 520. I have been using the edge 500 for the last 4 years and I’m very happy with its performance, but I find the ability to use maps and the bluetooth connectivity quite tempting…
about time to move into a powermeter
I want a watch that can communicate an SOS signal if I get into trouble somewhere when I don’t have my phone, or phone service. The Timex One GPS+ watch is the only GPS running choice I know of that can do at least some of that.
New Garmin watch with built in optical HRM. The apple watch HRM is sucky
Was hoping for a new bike computer, hopefully this will help!
A Garmin Forerunner 235 to run with instead of using my Edge 500
I would buy a garmin 920 xt, or a power meter.
I would choose the Garmin Edge 1000 because I am getting old and can’t see the numbers on my 920 when it is mounted on my handle bars.
I’d get a Garmin Edge 520, because I need a new bike computer, since my old one is broken.
I would get the Garmin 235. I wanted to upgrade from my Nike Sportswatch, but a new Garmin was not under the tree.
I’d get the Garmin 235, it’s an intriguing running watch. I’ve been holding out getting a gps watch and the optical heartrate that’s featured in the watch would both be a great training tool to help get to that next level.
I would put it towards a new smart turbo trainer. want that thing to change the resistance for me so i can think of one less thing to do……
I would like a Fenix 3. I will like it even more when they add an optical heart rate sensor. I am waiting till they add that to buy one.
A Edge 1000 to replace my old 800 when travelling and discovering new places…
Fingers crossed :-)
New trainer for me!
A new garmin watch
Tacx Vortex for my wife to train on.
Garmin 630 – I have the 220, but it’s time for an upgrade.
Power Meter. Every time I save enough money to get one I spend it on a registration fee.
The Tacx Bushido i’d want as my Flow is on its way out!!
It would have to be a Garmin FR630. The old FR410 is just getting tired.
Garmin Fenix watch since my 910 just bit the dust!
Trainer or powermeter….please
I’m torn between a new trainer, a power meter, or just random accessories for the new Garmin 920XT that Santa brought me!
Power Meter… Any Power Meter… because there is nothing wrong with a chap keeping notes.
A Garmin Fenix3 to replace my old Forerunner 310XT.
