I’m sure many of you received various sports gadgets over the last few weeks as part of the holidays. But for those unlucky elves who received a half-eaten gel packet in their Christmas stocking from their not-so-significant others, I’ve got a festivus of a present for you: This giveaway.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell. If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the new Garmin Fenix3 to a BSX Gen2 Insight to a random pair of socks to the 4iiii’s Precision Power Meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘’why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. A360), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Thursday, December 31st, 2015 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

I would get the Garmin 910xt Triathlon bundle.
Garmin Varia
4iii power meter. Just got into biking and I think a power Meter would be really awesome to have!
I looked at clever for anything hand cycle related, like maybe a sport crafters indoor roller….but no dice. In that event, the Fenix3 would be my choice. Cheers!
I’d put it toward a pair of FR235’s. The wife and I are both due for new watches.
fenix3 would bring a smile to my face!
Power meter. You’re wasting your time if you’re not training with power!
As I just got an awesome FR230 an Edge 520 would be nice for my bike.
I would probably get a Garmin Edge 810 with the navigation. Because it would be nice to have a computer to tell me where to turn on unfamiliar routes.
I want CycleOps Power Sync very much :)
A Garmin 520, because my 510 is kind of a PITA. Or a Fitbit with heart rate monitor to monitor resting heart rate. Thanks for the chance!
Bon chance, everyone!
I would put it towards a power meter, possibly 4iii’s precision. I don’t have a power meter yet but I feel like that is the next thing for me.
A Fenix3 would look good my wrist.
Would love to try saris thelma universal receiver.
Kickr. Wahoo! Not the table. Need a reliable training partner…
I would get the Garmin HRM swim to better understand my swim workouts and how my body responds to different pool workouts. I’d probably also get a new Garmin 235 as well so I didn’t have to wear a HRM on runs. Strange, huh?
The Tacx Vortex Smart. I just bought a house and now it’s time to setup the sports room :)
Probably Garmin 230 because the Fenix 3 I have is bigger than I really like.
Awesome stuff Ray, as always!
I would buy a new Garmin watch
Either the 4iiii power meter or the fenix 3.
I’d go with the Garmin Edge 1000 because getting lost on a solo century ride is no fun!

Adding power to my training!!!!!

Garmin Vectors, or at least a down payment on them.
I’d get a Tacx Bushido Smart so that I can continue riding my road bike through the winter. The winter is long and cold in Norway ;)

Fenix 3!!!!!
Garmin Fenix 3 to replace my Fenix 2
Garmin 235 – I’d love to incorporate heart rate training into my marathon training without the uncomfortable strap
Fatbike(or part of it:))
think it would have to be a 920xt… my vivoactive is nice enough but just does capture enough metrics for me…
I would get a Fenix 3. It would be radical overkill and therefore a perfect present.
I would like the Garmin Forerunner 235 as I want a watch that has a built in optical sensor.
I’d go for a GoPro Hero 4 Silver. Happy New Year to all!
The Garmin 520 would be fantastic. I could keep from getting lost and maintain a small form factor!
I’d get a Fenix 3 or Epix. I’m an avid hiker so those two watches are perfect.
Definitely a Wahoo Kickr, I’ve been thinking about getting one for a while now to have a good training option during the winter months and during the rain.
I would get the powertap P1 pedals please!
Redshift clip-on aero bars and an Edge 520. They have been on my list to buy (well and edge unit anyway…) for a long time.
Garmin Epix or Fenix 3. Getting new gear always increases my motivation and gets me out more.
I would score myself a power meter – I don’t have one and hate not having all the required gadgets!
Garmin 920xt. I’m looking at starting to train for triathlons this year and would love to be able to have power options as well!
The red and white Garmin 920.
Smart trainer. My ancient Tacx rollers are wearing out and while great for balance and keeping a smooth pedal, I’d like to try something more entertaining through the winter.
Garmin Fenix 3 not for me but to offer my farther he loves sports, especially swimming, running and cycling and we go for mountain hikes several times so this would be great.
Fenix3. A solid Garmin watch that will assist in my training.

I would bye a Suunto Ambit3 Peak Sapphire because it looks Mega Cool and it is a Mega Tool
HAPPY 2016
Either a Fenix 3 because I would like to have connect IQ vs. my 910 or the Edge 520 because of the same reasons vs. the 500. Or use part of the $500 towards a Kickr. A dilemma I’d gladly welcome.
GoPro because I want to build a 250 mm quadcopter!
I would get the GoPro Hero Silver and some comfy socks!!
dual leg power meter as I would like to start training using a power meter
Garmin 520 for Strava live segments
Fenix3 you know, because I couldn’t actually afford to buy one.
This would be a great subsidy on the Tacx Neo!
I didn’t get a Garmin Vivofit…mainly because I didn’t ask “Santa” for one…but wasn’t he supposed to KNOW what I wanted without me having to specify it?
If I were lucky enough to win I would likely buy Garmin Fenix 3, or possibly 4iiii Power meter.
Powertap C1 or P1 power meter. I think I am ready to start tracking my power.
I would definitely get the 4iiii power meter. I want to take my training to the next level and I’m ready to take the plunge into the world of training to power!!
I would go with the Fenix 3. Lots of options to play with on my adventures!
A ISM saddle for my road bike (I’m actually on the verge of wearing out the old one I had on there), a pair of compression recovery tights, and some new running shoes.
A garmin 920xt — my SO and I decided to have a small budget for gifts this year in order to save for more traveling in the new year!
I’d get another 4iiii precision for my CX bike, or a Wahoo Kickr… I liked my new pajamas but one of those would be better :)
Garmin FR235… I’ve been doing a lot more HR training of late, and this seems like the most complete solution I can get!
Tacx Vortex Smart trainer.
Because I got hit by a car this fall training for my ironman. I still did the race, but my wife and kid want me inside on a trainer. Me too actually…
A Garmin Fenix 3! My old 305 finally bit the dust, and I could use the latest and greatest!
Fenix 3 would be great replacement of my 910xt
Garmin varia to stay safe out on the roads. Or maybe the edge 1000 to help with navigation on unfamiliar roads.
I’d get a Powertap C1 chainring so I could use power rather than heartrate for my ride training.
Well, a Garmin Montana would be great for my next desert race ;-)
Fenix3 would be my pick. But really I could use any of the gadgets.
A Wahoo Elemnt to hopefully end my streak of purchasing pre-release fitness gadgets that don’t deliver what they promise.
