Nothing this weekend unfortunately, got hit off my bike while out last Sunday so currently nursing a very swollen leg!

I’ll probably be doing a 5km MTB fun ride with my daughter at the pretty little town of Patensie, South Africa, followed by a longer ride on Sunday.

Morning becomes cold here in France, so cycling will now start at 9h this sunday for 3h long (goal : 80km at least).

Hopefully by Sunday I’ll feel better (I’m kind of sick right now) and be able to go for a run, or if the weather is nice, one of the last bike rides before trainer season starts.

This weekend I’ll be doing 1.5 hours on TrainerRoad on Saturday followed by a 3.8k swim set then settling in to watch Kona then waking up and doing 2.5 hours on Sunday and a 45 min easy run.

I’ll be doing a training run, for the 1/2 marathon I’ve got next week, which I’ve done no real training for. Still going along with slowish friends, so should be fun.
I commute by bike to work for a round trip of 50 km daily so I guess weekends are for playing with the kids.
My wife is away so I’ve got to fit my training around 3 kids aged 1, 4 &8. I’ll be biking with a baby seat, a trail gator & an enthusiastic 8 year old!!
It’s Saturday and Sunday socials from now on now that the season is over instead of giving each other a kicking for a few hours each day. Still manage a good 60 miles both days.
Hard to beat a nice coffee stop and a scone or a caramel square!!
