I ran 19 km away from pamplona where I live, but not with bull’s in the street.
Hill repeats yesterday Saturday, hill 1 km long, average grade 6.5% max 9%. Then easy leg spin on trainer while watching the stream of IRONMAN world championships, not for the whole big leg, only 1 hr 15 min. Did it last yr, felt in my mind like I was there.

Trip to Old Trafford, Manchester to watch the Super League Grand Final on Saturday (my team won!) so missed my Saturday swim… 40km ride in the fog this morning!

On Saturday, I ran along the Seine, from the Eiffel tower to Musee Orsay. then back, while waiting for my son. A fabulous run in the most beautiful city in the world, sunny day. 1:15 run and today a ride indoor , 40 min.

My first open water triathlon in Hampshire, UK. After a spate of recent injuries and a certifiably insane commitment to do an Ironman distance in 2016 I thought I should give it a go!
There’s a write up on my blog but I won’t self promote! What I can say is the saddle coming loose at mile 2 and no allen keys is a lesson well learned.
Coming off a sickness I had to take it somewhat easy, but managed a nice 10k hike on Sunday and am now starting to get ready for the 2016 season training.

Well this year my training consisted of being a lazy arse and quite frankly this weekend involved much of the same. except for a few beers at Oktoberfest and thena game of baseball on Sunday. I might dust the bike off some time and hope i still rmeber how to ride…
