Resting on Saturday and long ride Sunday. Since I cracked my Edge 520 this Tuesday when I flipped into a ditch during a technical descent on my MTB I would really enjoy a new 520 where I am able to read the display again and not just have to guess that I’m putting out only 250W, while I’m hurting like it’s 400.
Doing a 48h learn-camp for my medical exams next week – after that: riding like never before!
This weekend is my favourite of the year with both Kona and the Bathurst 1000 ( an iconic Australian motor race). I’m training at my tried and tested 5:1 ratio this weekend (for every 5 hours of tv/internet watching I run, swim or cycle for an hour. I still get in the training but don’t miss much of the event.
30 mile on Saturday, then watch football the rest of the weekend!
No biking, just running!
An aerobic / endurance run and maybe a recovery swim.

Going to start a training plan to do my first 70.3. It includes doing my first tri ever beforehand so there is a lot of training to do.
I’ll do a short distance (~70 km) plus a quick run on Saturday, Sunday will be a long ride plus some cookies…

This weekend’s training plans involve a 25K ride on Saturday to prepare for the gigantic Thanksgiving turkey dinner I’ll be eating Sunday, followed by an easy 10K run on Monday to recover from said dinner.

Just finished 60 miles today and planning for another 60 tomorrow. Sunday running and yoga. Total for the week over 200 miles of cycling.
Long run, sleep (most important part of recovery) and then a long ride with efforts.
I’m in my all-important off-season, so my training plans include professional bottoming out with much drinking and eating and rejuvenating of the spirit.
Saturday: Wake up 5am, drive 4hrs to Traverse City. Ride the Iceman MTB course backwards and then forwards (4-5hrs). Proceed to drive home again.
Sunday: Drive 1hr to Hidden Forest Trail Race (8.5mi) and try and beat my time from last year!
Soccer on Saturday, cyclo-cross on Sunday, beer both days.
8 to 10k run in the forest Saturday near Paris during my daughter’s horseback riding lesson… but I might consider going bikin’ if I get that 520!
Watching my best friend finishing Kona and 90km bike ride ok Queen K on Sunday
Rode today, flat 35 with my wife (who would be the beneficiary of the 520) and hope (no rain!) to get out tomorrow and/or Sunday for some hills along the Naples coast. Monday – Amalfi!
