Post ITBS rehab is looking solid. So after some careful excercise the last few week, this weekend marks the start for real training buildup again!!
Doing the second half of the SF Bay Trail this weekend, from downtown SF to Niles canyon, roughly 70 miles.
Friday a 5k run and a 40k MTB ride at zaterday
7 mile marathon pace on Saturday and 13 mile easy run on Sunday.
Saturday will be 70mi in Zones 2 and 3 on pavement and Sunday will be 25mi on gravel. It will be warm, sunny but windy, but no complaints for mid-October.
Just finished cross country race.. Easy weekend ahead!
Struggking to do more than a short run as working all weekend
My race plans for this weekend are a 48K road race (where I will be dropped on the first climb – which is at the start) followed by a 40K Team Time Trial with a team of riders who are all 1 or 2 categories better than me. Should be fun in some weird way.
26km trail training run for Saturday.
10km run (hopefully on trail) for recovery on Sunday.
313km and 6000m of hills and dirt on my CAAD10 :-) on Saturday. Bed or hospital Sunday morning !!
95kms of riding steep mountains on Sat. Sunday I’m going for an easy spin!
Nothing much–probably just bike-commuting to my physically active job on Saturday, and making the most of my one rest day/week on Sunday.

I don’t have any plans this weekend, but my friend just had his rather expensive bike stolen, and is really bummed about it. Having an awesome bike computer to go with his replacement would go a long way towards cheering him up.

This weekend is all about exploring the Berlin Grunewald on my Konstructive MTB. Plans are to be riding the Berlin TOM (Test of Metal). Berlin is flat? The course has almost 1,000 Cumulative elevation gain.
