It’s somehow October already, and it’s been months since the Giveaway Extravaganza, and far too many months since a standalone extravaganza. I really need to have more of these. Thanksgiving weekend in Canada so time will mostly be spend with the family celebrating and eating turkey. However planning a long relaxing bike ride with the wife and kids (3-6-7) to burn off all the calories on Sunday and little hike in the Gatineau Park. Back at running on Monday! None! I was training for a late season long course tri (70.3) and then it was canceled. So I signed up for a sprint a few weeks before my target race, and it was canceled as well. Boo. I basically gave up on training (and racing) temporarily. ;)

On saturday it will be climbing, a 3 hour ride with about 2200m in elevation gain, up to Christ the redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro and some other climbs close by. On sunday a 70km rolling highway training.
