Canadian thanksgiving this weekend… I’m going to see who can eat the turkey the fastest. Real training starts again on Monday.
Since it’s almost going to freeze again for the first time, I plan on doing a sunrise ride early saturday morning!
Mountain Bike race this weekend for my son’s high school team so mostly spectating, and helping with that. I will work in a few short runs I’m sure.
No racing this weekend. But the weather is supposed to be amazing! Probably my last outdoor bike ride. Gonna soak up as much sun and bikelove possible!

5k Speed run Saturday in preparation for 10k on sunday
Easy 5-6 on Saturday then a long 13 miles on trails Sunday running. May throw a swim in there Sunday night after football.
Walking circles around the house consoling our newborn. I’ll probably rack up ten easy miles. I like to think of the constant “shushing” as working on my breathing.

It’s Thanksgiving in Canada this weekend and my local bike club put on a CX race they’re calling “Turkey Cross”. It’ll be my first CX on the new bike. Obviously that bike needs a shiny new 520 to go on it. :-)
I plan to run a 5k, eat a waffle, and fight a bear. Great ways to stay in shape.
Only training plans are walking around my freshman daughter’s campus for her college’s Parents Weekend!

Planning on a three mile trail run around a nearby lake, followed by an eight mile bike ride. Nothing super ambitious, but it’s been a while.

Cruise through the lanes tonight, 20 miles. Steady (ish tomorrow) hoepfully 30 miles, then a ride to Tan hill to watch a hill climb event.
It’s offseason… A small recovery run, a somewhat longer run and one or two easy swims.
No training this weekend: vising my parents for a few days. Next week will entail 200 miles and ~18K feet of climbing.

Just running this weekend – next week some single track riding for fun before it gets too cold.
Ride 120 km on Saturday and Monday. Sunday would be a recovery ride. Enjoy beautiful fall color in northern Ontario.

My training plans for this weekend include going to a UT Vols football game and tailgating my heart out! I guess I’ll technically be walking about 8 miles around the stadium and up steps and stuff so maybe a few extra hot dogs and cold drinks to keep my energy up. Taking 6 months off of everything after 4 straight years of IM has made me soft…and round. After this weekend, back to the grindstone.
