Just an easy bike ride, between 30km and 50km.
The plan is to get out on the fat bikes. Yay for more snow!

12 easy miles run for “monsieur” after a nasty cold

11 miles long run for half marathon in 2 weeks
Just got back from a 16km long run in minus 20 celsius (minus 5 fahrenheit) temperatures with 2 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Ok, it was a very, very slow long run, with poor footing, strong winds and an unplanned 10 minute break to help push a vehicle out of a snowy ditch. I’m going back to bed and hibernating until spring. I’ve had enough of this Ottawa winter.
My training on Valentine day is sitting with my wife on a cup of hot chocolate. Maybe run a 14.02 km run to burn all the calories
A 1hr 44 minute Sufferfest ride on my trainer: Blender.
Afternoon will likely be 25 minutes of core workout on Fitstar.

Doing some XC skiing (we got another 5cm of snow).
I’ll be running, alone :( business trip has me away from the Valentine. She’s running…after our kids!
I did a strength workout to avoid running 8 miles out in the falling+fallen snow (that balances out, right? :/ ). More importantly though I’ll be ruining all that work by having some tasty beers and going to see Mr. Ira Glass with my wife. Sometimes it’s good to train the soul too.
An easy 3 miles ahead of marathon pace long run on Sunday.
It’s above freezing so 5k on the local path system.
Brick workout today. Short run followed by a 2 hour ride with my honey to celebrate Vanentine’s Day.

3.1 mile run for me!
I already did Piyo sweat (for strength) this morning and will be taking my kids swimming this afternoon.
I broke my left arm last week as a result of a bad fall from my bike, so I’m a bit restricted. I’m doing some squats, adjusted donkey kicks and some right side-planks as well as going for a walk as running is not an option.
On the other hand, my husband ran in a 50k race in Donadea in Ireland. So at least one of us was able for some strenuous exercise!
A short run on the 14th just to loosen up before a half marathon on the 15th!

Hardest training session in my catalog. Rest due to a slight overuse injury
leaving for a 5k run and ending up with a 20k run, just because it’s fun. Not only on Valentine’s Day, but every day!
2 hours biking indoor on the Trainer, thankfully Trainerroad makes it less boring.
Funeral today so likely just a 30 min run later today or an hour or so on the bike trainer.

Valentine’s includes a ride on the trainer while my wife is on the elliptical, shoveling snow, and a nice family dinner.
Went for a 30k mountain bike ride to continue prep for the season on the roadbike, run with Dee a slow 3.5k as its early days for her. Went to cotswold outdoors to look at a Tomtom for her…. Got some cliff bars instead and came home to eat chicken pasta together

1:45 on the trainer this morning, preparing taxes (so much fun), then off to dinner and a movie with the GF once she is off work.
