16km, base training run, HR 70-75%, cool but not cold weather, no wind forecast, should be magic.

Short 4 miler. Recovering from a pulled muscle.
Going for a 8k swim in the Great Salt Lake then a brisk 5k power jog through Pioneer Park after dark.
Valentine’s Day is a recovery day, so it’s an easy Z1 5 Mile run.
Cupid’s Undie Run in San Francisco – not a long run, but my heart rate will be elevated! More importantly, proceeds go to the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
Just some running. Trying to keep simple this weekend.

My first half marathon!!
I am just getting back to running after surgery. So I will be taking 2 of my daughters running at the Y tomorrow and then we will do whatever they want- which will likely include climbing the rock wall and swimming! Best training partners ever!

Cross country skiing all day!
With the temps forecasted to stay around -20C for most of the day, the 14th will consist of some indoor workouts:
– pilates session on the reformer
– a short HIIT whole-body workout (stability work on Bosu, pull-ups, medicine ball squats, that sort of thing…)
– a treadmill run (distance TBD)
Jealous of those in warmer climates who’re able to get outside on the bike!

Starting my day off with an hour tempo run for my Boston Marathon preparation! Obviously followed by some heart shaped pancakes! :-)

Canada has started to adopt “Family Day” across the provinces to break up the dark gloomy winter between New Years Day and Easter. While my province of BC had theirs last week, I’m currently waiting at the Vancouver airport to whisk me away to Alberta to meet my gorgeous lovely, who lives in Edmonton 1150km away.
We are meeting at Lake Louise, AB, one of the pristine and magical ski resorts that I’ve never been to, and is her favourite. So, tomorrow, Sunday and the Holiday Monday – the slopes. I’ll be tracking my runs with my Ambit 2S, which I found (and love) thanks to your review!
3 hour bike followed by a 30 minute run brick – followed by some heart shaped pancakes with my runner fiancé Racine Schuring!
I’m running the Krispy Kreme Challenge on Valentine’s morning. The tag line is: “1 hour, 2400 calories, 5 miles, 12 doughnuts”. I’ve run it as a “casual runner” (meaning I didn’t have to eat the donuts) the last couple of years but this year I signed up as a “challenger”. We’ll see how it goes. :-D
I had planned to run a 25K trail run. Broken toe = no. I can bike though. So I’m driving my friends out to the start then plan on cycling some laps while they run. That is love.

Brick training, 25 mile bike followed by 6.5 run. Loving life!
30 minute swim in the AM followed by either a 30 minute bike or run. Not sure which, yet. Maybe both if I’m feeling it.
5 mile run, then celebrating Valentines.
16k run… and going to be +6 C…. should be a nice day for a run!

7 mile run followed by 2 hour bike ride. Of course ending the day with a nice walk to downtown restaurant with wife.
Either a couple of miles with the stroller in the nice 70 degree weather or a ride on the trainer if the baby doesn’t cooperate.

I got 13 miles bright and early, intending to get home just in time to make breakfast for my Valentine.
I’ll be trying to find some snow and getting in a 40-50 km ski.

Doing an early morning FTP ride and then going bouldering. Could really use a good fitness tracker watch for me and the girl!

Cross country ski. Probably intervals, two hours total I hope. Then off to a wedding – not mine.
Because of the blizzard going on outside my window I am going to be working it out on the bike trainer while the wife is working on a nap.
Since my left eye just healed after an infection, I’ll go biking today after 2 weeks of hiatus.

After just returning home from a business trip to fine Michigan weather I think I’ll be running on the treadmill. In light of the Valentines Day though…2.14 miles sounds terrific!
Coming back from foot surgery, so three miles for me tomorrow.

Wife heads to gym for 30 min on the treadmill
50 miles ride with 5000 feet of climbing on gravel/dirt. We’ll see how long I last.
Half marathon together
Possibly an easy, short run. We’e running our first half marathon on the 15th so it’s just gonna depend on how we feel tomorrow.
We were hoping to go for a run outside, but it’s too cold, so we’ll be running on the treadmill inside. I’m hoping to get at least 45 minutes.
It’ll be a couples trainer ride in the basement. Way to cold to venture outside here in DC.
Coach says run, so I run: 5x12min intervals at increasing speeds.
6 AM run while my son is training with his swim team while my wife and daughter get to sleep in.
6 mile run in the morning
Easy run, about 4 miles.
With wind chills in Minneapolis of -15 to -25 F, it looks like it’s going to be a easy workout on the Octane Fitness Lateral X. Tapering for next weeks American Birkebeiner, North America’s largest ski marathon. 51km link to birkie.com
We’ll be doing the ever-romantic side-by-side treadmills run tomorrow morning.
4 Hour Solo Mtn Bike Endurance Race out at RCP. That’s burn off enough calories to share a big piece of chocolate cake with the love of my life.

2 x 20′ @ 100% FTP + 1 x 10′ @ 90% FTP on the KICKR. No love for my legs tomorrow!
I’m attempting to not be injured so not so much going on training wise. I am going sailing though and it’s looking to be a beautiful sunny and windy day.

We have our lunch together with my wife and her parents on Valentine’s day eve. Then follow by a 5km run in early evening along scenic Marina Bay along really. Next day, on Valentine’s day morning I am running 15km at half marathon pace. Afternoon will be simple healthy home cooked lunch.
Recovery day / rest
Finishing the laminate flooring in my basement then a run. I had hoped to run with my wife but she has the flu.
5mi on saturday and 11mi on sunday all at easy pace in -10 to -20C weather, tapering for next week end marathon.
1.5 hrs on the trainer and 1 hr run
Tomorrow’s a rest day! Got 6 miles in today before the cold weather sets in, so rest tomorrow and an easy 4-5 on Sunday.
I have some 20minutes easy jog followed by some côté strenght training at the gym… also its FreeZing in Montreal. Cant wait to run without 5layers outside!
