Despite the French fondness for any reason to take the day off, it is not considered a national holiday here. Not that it would matter anyway, I get to spend some 12-14 hours on a plane bouncing across the ocean.

Plans? I can only tell You what I’ve done during this weekend: 16k run with my 2y old son in his Chariot CX and today 32k run around Wroclaw city.
Easy 1-hour spin on the trainer indoors on Sat. The freezing March Madness Half Marathon in Cary, IL on Sunday!
The goal is to get back on the treadmill after laser eye surgery last week! Seeing clearly!
Sat: Solo ride and supporting my girlfriend with her first run in ages. And testing the Garmin Vivofit.
Sun: Mountainbiking with friends and testing the Vivofit again.
Recovery run on Saturday, long run with some intervals on Sunday.
This weekend workout plan was yesterday (Saturday) run 18 miles with 5000 feet elevation climb under 3 hours and rest today for my ultra running training this year.

Because of an injured foot my only workout this week end was volunteering at a local 10k.
Ran 4 miles on Saturday and my first ten miler in a long time on Sunday.
my only plan is a 60 km long commute, with smaller intervals

Well, there are the plans and then there is the doing. Plan was for a 3.5 hour bike ride on Saturday. And a reverse brick (short) on Sunday. So, the 3.5 hours turned into 5 hours and I’m spent today, so the reverse brick is iffy…can’t wait for the generous gift from my coach of a day off tomorrow.

Running plan was 5K run in Shepherd’s Bush (Glen Waverley, VIC) with my 10 y old boy biking along for Saturday. On Sunday I had a short relax run, only 2K.
Sunday 60km of road bike
My left knee is not working this weekend so I’m training my core this days.
As per usual, long ride on Saturday followed by a long coffee shop stop. Sunday is rest day.
Nothing hardcore:
Saturday morning 25k bike ride around windy and flat Amager.
Sunday morning cargo bike with the kids into Copenhagen.

I went for a nice 48.5km ride with a mate on Saturday and Taronga Zoo with the family on Sunday. It rained a storm at the Zoo, but was still pretty good.

We had a cyclone here in NZ so resorted to the trainer for a Sufferfest session.

Next weekend is as follows: Friday (after school) work my quick lube job, then when I get off at 8pm Do a lifting session (bicep, tricep, and ab day) then a quick 3 mile jog on the treadmill or (if the weather is nice) then I will pound a 5k jog. Saturday is work again then do workout day b (back, legs, and shoulders) then a little endurance test of 8 mph for as long as I can after a 10 min warmup. Sunday is church, work, homework then sleep!! :) Hope to fit a motorcycle ride in sometime in there
Rehabing ITBS, so 2 gym sessions around hip stability involving squats, lunges, pistol squats and copious amounts of stretching, foam rolling and tears.

Well I just completed the Shamrock Half Marathon today 1:50:49. Next up is working towards a faster half marathon using adidas micoach! There software is awesome. Wish I could say the same for their watch :-(
