Flying Calgary to Denver on Saturday, Skate ski 25km at Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Centre on Sunday with friends from Texas. Plan to ski all week in fact.
I’m thinking a walk in the park is in order for the weekend.

A nice easy run on Saturday and some strength training on Sunday.
Saturday is 30-35 miles of steady 60-80% HR cycling and Sunday will be an hour of indoor walking.
I will join and coach my wife with running her first 5K ever on Saturday, on sunday it’s time for my long run of 12K.

Saturday is a rest day. Sunday will be a 1 mile warmup, 5 mile tempo run, 1 mile cooldown.
Its still cold in Canada, so training indoors:
Saturday – Trainer intervals – 15*2:00 Z4 with 1:00 rest
Sunday – Broken tri – AM: 3*500m swim at race pace PM – Brick. 1:30 MAP trainer ride transitioning to 15 minute run at high Z3 pace.

I’ve got an Xterra race next weekend so I really wanted to go Mountain biking this weekend, but it is currently raining. So for me this weekend it will probably be a 60 min swim followed by a 60 min sufferfest trainer ride today. Sunday will be another 60 min swim.

The trails are finally dry enough so I will be doing a 4 hour mountain bike ride Saturday and a 3 hour one on Sunday. Can’t wait!
