The Because It’s Almost St. Patrick’s Day…Giveaway

While I was enjoying the umpteenth day straight of mind-bogglingly sunny weather here in the ‘City of Light’, it occurred to my that St. Patrick’s day is Monday.  Despite the French fondness for any reason to take the day off, it is not considered a national holiday here.  Not that it would matter anyway, I get to spend some 12-14 hours on a plane bouncing across the ocean.

So for no other reason than it’s (almost) St. Patrick’s day, and sorta-spring like (lucky charms and all), it’s time for a giveaway.

    Weekend workout: Saturday have a 5k race. It is with my 6 year old, so no visions of placing here for me (maybe for him). Depending on the plans for the rest of the day, thinking of a nice bike ride.

    Sunday, work on the long run most likely. I have a half marathon in April, been working my distances back up after an IT band issue. Hope to put in about 10 miles or so. That or a trail run, which I so love to do.

Saturday morning: baby swimmers ; saturday afternoon : bike (he’ll be working his aero position in the trailer) then second transition and crawling on the floor. Sunday will be about general fitness (sofa climbing is a tough sport, fortunately after you can rest on the sofa). And a 90-min run along the Seine for me during the little one’s nap…
